B is for Bird ATC

Hi everyone! I’m back today with an ATC I created for a swap that Eileen Hull had hosted in her Facebook group. The people that signed up for the swap were paired with a swap partner and all we had to do was create an ATC and use a product by Eileen Hull on the project. I used the Library Pocket ATC Card and Tabs, Alphanumeric and the flowers and leaf sprig from the Folio Page Pocket and Flowers Thinlits.

If you don’t know what an ATC is it stands for Artist Trading Card and they measure 2 1/2″x3 1/2″, the size of a football trading card.

I cut a card and tab from the Library Pocket ATC Card and Tabs Thinlits. I adhered a piece of patterned cardstock off center of the card. Next I fussy cut two birds and the birdhouse from the Let it Snow Art Dolls Printables, glued the birdhouse printable, bits of laces and bird onto the card. Since the top of the birdhouse “hung” off the card I added the tab. Also the birdhouse printable had a small line in it when it printed and since I hated to discard the image I added Rose Gold Luster Wax to the roof to hide the line…it worked. I added a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of cardstock, placed over the letter B of the Alphanumeric Thinlit and run through the Diecut Machine. I placed the letter B onto the tab along with a flower and finished the front by adhering a flower and leaf sprigs to the bottom of the bird.

For the back of the card I placed the library card stamp, from the Buttons, Cards and More Stamp Set onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked and stamped onto a piece of White Cardstock. Next I cut and glued onto the card along with a flower, leaves, the negative image of the letter B and a bird. I finished by signing, dating and numbering my card. I cut out a library pocket in Vellum, put together and placed the card inside. I kept it very simple.

Now for Jen’s ATCs!!! I absolutely LOVE what she created and all the extras she sent!

She created two ATCS, altered a little holder so I can display the cards.

Look at all the different textures!

Doesn’t the brick on the ATC look real?!? The little holder is perfect and she decorate it with the Mandala Thinlit too. Did I say I love everything?!!
