Mittens and Sweater Card

Hi everyone! I want to share a quick card I created using the Sweater Embossing Folder, the snowflake from the Wreath and Snowflake Thinlits and the mitten from the Mitten Box Diecut. Let’s get started!

I cut and folded a piece of patterned cardstock to create a 4 1/2″x6 1/2″ card base. Next I embossed a piece of Aqua Blue Cardstock with the Sweater Embossing Folder, lightly inked over the raised areas with a Blue Chalk Ink and adhered two strips of patterned cardstock to the embossed cardstock. I added Foam Pop Dots to the embossed cardstock and placed onto the card base.

I ran the Mitten Diecut through the Diecut Machine a couple of times, once for patterned and once for plain cardstocks. I inked the edges of the mitten with a blue chalk ink and glued together.

I cut out a snowflake from the Wreath and Snowflake Thinlits and glued to the mitten along with a vintage button. I placed foam pop dots to the back of the mitten before placing on the card base.

I adhered a cut a part that I found in my stash off center of the mitten, added flat back pearls to the snowflake and several loops of thread to the button and called the card finished!
