Love You Card

Hi everyone! Can you believe it is already August?!?!? I blinked and summer is¬†almost over! ūüė≥ I’ve been busy these last couple of¬†months and really haven’t had a chance to enjoy time in the pool like I normally do. Oh well, I’m getting ready to change that! ūüėé While I am here I want to¬†share a card I created for Momenta!

I had a bunch of leftover cardstock scraps from another project so I decided I would try and come up with something from what I had on hand and this is what I came up with. I started with a 4 1/4″x7 1/4″ folded piece of cardstock from the Momenta Basic Paper Pad (retired).
I cut a piece of cardstock from the Watercolor Metallic Paper Pad to 3 1/2″x7 1/4″ and adhered to the front of the card base. From the same paper pad I cut a¬†Rectangle Diecut from stripped metallic cardstock and adhered to the card base.

Next I placed a 4″ yellow polka dot Watercolor Doily and a scrap of cardstock that I cut a “v” in the end to create a banner onto the card.

I cut “love you” and the decorative heart diecuts from the Romance Pack Cutting Template from cardstock scraps from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad.

I had a scrap of an Intricate Border Diecut leftover that I added to the card along with “love you” sentiment and decorative heart diecuts. I added a¬†fabric flower and leaf from my stash with sequin and gem to the center of the flower and gems to the decorative heart diecut to finish off my card. If you don’t following Momenta on any of these¬†social medias please go give them a¬†follow:
