Simple Thanks Card

Hi everyone! I’m back with my second project of the month for Momenta! I wanted to create a quick and simple card that took less than 30 minutes to make so lets get started.

I started by placing the Nested Square Border Diecuts on top of a piece of Watercolor Paper and run through the Freestyle Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Next I placed the square diecut into the corner of the embossing folder from the Thanks Floral Embossing and Diecuts and run through the diecut machine. I lightly inked over the embossed area and edges of the diecut.

I placed a scrap of green watercolor cardstock from the Watercolor 8″x8″ Paper Pad and cut two vines diecuts out from the Christmas Tree Embossing Folder and Diecuts. I also cut one flower from Thanks Floral Embossing and Diecuts using the same paper pad. I cut a portion off of each vine and shaped, along with the flower diecut, with a Stylus. I adhered the vines to the back of the flower along with a sequins and glossy dot to the center of the flower.

I added a bit of glue to the back of the flower and placed in the lower corner of the square diecut. Next I placed an Adhesive Sheet on the back of a scrap piece of cardstock from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad, placed the thanks diecut from the Thanks Floral Embossing and Diecuts on top of the cardstock and run through the diecut machine. I peeled the backing off of the thanks sentiment and placed on the square diecut.

I cut a piece of blue cardstock from the Watercolor 8″x8″ Paper Pad and folded it 4″x5 1/2″ to create the card base. I added a small strip of metallic cardstock to the card before adding foam pop dots to the back of the square diecut and placing on the front of the card. Very easy card! I would like to also add before wrapping up my post that this is my last Momenta post…for the time being…I hope to come back at a later date once I am finished with a few home projects. 😊

February 14th Love Card and Candy Treat

Hi everyone! I’m back this week with some quick projects for Valentine’s Day using Momenta paper pads, diecuts and a few things from my own personal stash.

I started the card by cutting a piece of black cardstock from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad 4 1/4″x 51/2″ (that’s folded).

I raided my stash and adhered a doily to the front of the card. I placed a piece of Adhesive Sheet onto the backside of a piece of cardstock, placed the Love diecut from the Floral Wreath Cut and Emboss onto the cardstock and run through the Freestyle Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. I removed the backing from the “negative” of the love diecut and placed on top of the doily.

I fussy cut a bouquet of flowers from one piece floral cardstock from the Peony Paper Pad and added foam pop dots to the back before placing on the card base. From my stash I adhered “14” and “Feb” from a scrap of cardstock above and below the flowers. I finished the card off by adding messy loops of thread and glitter glue to the leaves and centers of the flowers.

I made another quick project to give as treats for the family.

I cut two of the smaller diecuts from the Nested Borders Rectangles Metal Diecuts (it’s a great way to use up scraps of cardstock) and adhered the smaller diecut off center. I punch a hole on each side of the larger diecut.

The love diecut that was leftover from the card and a smaller bunch of fussy cut flowers I adhered to the diecut. I adhered a button, sequin and flatback pearl to the sentiment and place a lolly pop in the puched holes. You can make several of these in an hour and these would be perfect for class parties.

Have a Happy Heart Tag

Hi everyone! Sorry to be missing in action so to speak but I have been preparing for my trip to Creativation again this year. I’ve been working on “Top Secret” projects for the show.😉 I do have my second project of the month that I created for Momenta that I would like to share with y’all.

I always have an extra tag laying around that I have sopped up the leftover ink from past projects that I always have on my glass tray. So I grabbed one of those tags from my stash, extra heavy gel, palette knife and the Floral stencil out of the Floral Stencil Value 4 Sheet Pack.

I placed the floral stencil on top of the tag and loaded the palette knife with extra heavy gel and applied over the stencil. I didn’t completely cover the tag with heavy gel. Only in random spots on the tag.

While letting the heavy gel dry…which doesn’t take that long… I inked the Love Birds Rubber Stamp with Pink to Orange Ombre Pigment Ink and stamped onto a piece of White Cardstock. I kinda cleaned the orange ink off of the stamp and inked it with the pink ink and again stamped onto a piece of cardstock. Since the ink is “juicy” I let it dry before fussy cutting the image.

I raided my scraps of patterned cardstock and adhered midway and at the bottom of the tag. I added Foam Pop Dots to the back of the stamped image and placed on the tag. Before cutting out the words “Happy” and Heart” from the Hope/Dream/Believe Diecuts I applied an Adhesive Sheet to the back of the an piece of gold metallic cardstock from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad. Once I cut out the word diecuts I removed the backing from the diecuts and placed midway of the tag.

From the Romance Pack Diecuts I cut the decorative heart bracket with heart out and adhered to the tag.

I finished the tag by adding lace, Ric Rac and gold trim to the bottom of the tag along with three glossy dots. I also added a seam binding bow to the top of the tag.

Let it Snow Tag

Hi everyone! I am back after a little break from the holidays with my first project of the new year for Momenta! This tag takes no time to create. Maybe 30 to 45 minutes at the most but lets get started!

I started by placing a tag into the Let it Snow Embossing Folder and run through the Freestyle Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Next I inked three Art Daubers with the inks from the Blue to Teal Ombre Pigment Ink Pad and inked over the embossed image and edges of the tag.

I cut one Intricate Snowflakes Diecut from mint cardstock and cut three of the snowflakes from the diecut.

Next I cut one snowflake and two of the tiny star bursts in a light blue cardstock from the Let it Snow Embossing Folder and Diecuts and lightly inked the edges of all the diecuts.

I placed Foam Pop Dots behind the snowflake and star burst dies before placing onto the tag.

I adhered the three intricate snowflakes dies randomly on the tag along with sequins and gems.

I finished the tag by tying ribbon into a bow at the top of the tag and called it finished!

Poinsettia Gift Box

Hi everyone! I’m back with my second project of the month for Momenta! Since Christmas is only nine days away I thought I would share a quick and easy gift box that can be mass produced.

I started by running the Baker’s Box Cutting Template through the Freestyle Diecutting and Embossing Machine. I cut two diecuts out of Kraft Cardstock.

I folded and adhered the tabs and the bottom to create the box.

From scraps of cardstock from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad I cut four poinsettia, two holly and a couple leaf sprigs.

To create one flower I shaped two flowers and one holly with a Stylus. I adhered one flower on top of the other, added the holly and a leaf sprig to the back. I used a circle punch and punched a circle from one of the scraps of cardstock from the Peony Paper Pad and glued to the flower. I finished off by adding a sequin and glossy dot to the center of the flower and I did a messy loop of thread and glued behind the flower.

I adhered the finished poinsettia to the upper corner of the lid of the box. From my stash I added the Merry Christmas sentiment next to the flower.

As you can see there is plenty of room to add candy or even a small gift. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Season’s Greetings Truck Gift Card Holder

Hi everyone! I am back with my first project of the month for Momenta! It is hard to believe that in less that 20 days Christmas will be here…YIKES! I am in full crazy mode trying to get everyone bought for, put the tree up and decorate. If you are like me you need quick craft projects that can be whipped out in a hurry. Well, here is a quick gift card holder project that takes 30 minutes or less to complete.

I found this Happy Holiday Truck Cut and Emboss Diecuts at my locate Tuesday Morning. I cut two truck diecuts from a sheet of red cardstock from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad using the Freestyle Diecutting and Embossing Machine. The wheels I used a scrap of black cardstock (placed a scrap of an Adhesive Sheet on the back side of the black scrap of cardstock) from the same paper pad and placed over the wheels of the die and cut out. I did a little fussy cutting around the wheels, removed the backing from the adhesive sheet and place each black wheel on top of the wheels of the truck.

I lightly inked around the edges of the truck diecuts with a red chalk ink. Next I cut out the railings, happy holidays sentiment and packages in white cardstock for the truck (2 times for each) and adhered both railings to each truck diecut.

Before gluing the packages to either side of the truck I inked over the edges with the red chalk ink and added a little washi tape to the top. Before adhering the bottom of the truck diecuts together I cut out two trees and adhered to the truck bed. Lastly I inked over the edges of the Happy Holidays sentiment and added to the truck bed along with a gift card.

Mini Snowflake Journal

Hi everyone! I’m back this week with my second project of the month for Momenta and I thought since Christmas is oh so close I would create a micro journal with a leftover needle book diecut that I had cut out in leather. Also have you been by Hobby Lobby and seen all of Momenta’s newest Christmas/Holiday diecuts and embossing folders?!?!? If not you need to make a special trip just to get some of these fabulous diecuts and embossing folders!

As I stated I had a leftover needle book diecut that I had cut from leather and I decided I wanted to try and use part of the Let it Snow embossing folder and the snowflake diecut to emboss the leather. I spritzed the areas that I was going to emboss/add diecut with water and placed the bottom edge of the journal and the belly band into the embossing folder (emboss snowflakes only) and run through the Diecut Machine. I completed the same steps for the snowflake diecut too. For people that don’t have access to leather or would like to created this journal out of cardstock the size is 5″x3 5/8″.

In the spine I added a total of four eyelets with the Crop-A-Dil. I ran the Hot Pink Elastic through the eyelet holes and the belly band and tied off.

Then I cut a piece of patterned cardstock from the Peony Paper Pad to 3 1/8″x4″ and several piece of notebook paper slightly smaller than the cover. I punched two holes in the spine and sewed the notebook paper inside of the cover.

I punched out a Scalloped Circle from the same paper pad and adhered to the front of the notebook and cut a snowflake diecut out and added to the scalloped circle along with a sequin and gem.

I also cut four star diecuts out and adhered them back to back at the ends of the twine that I had tied off inside of the notebook and added a gem to the center of each one.

Hi everyone! I’m back today with my project for Momenta! Since I have several upcoming birthdays I decided I would created a gift box.

I started by taking a part a small box that I had on hand. I folded in one section and place in the embossing folder from the Happy Birthday Stamp and Emboss Set and run through the Freestyle Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. I completed the same steps for the other side of the box.

I glued the box back together and inked over the embossed areas with an assortment of chalk inks.

I cut and adhered a piece of patterned cardstock from the Watercolor Metallic Paper Pad to fit the lid of the box.

I stamped the sentiment “Cheers!” from the Happy Birthday Stamp and Emboss Set and placed one of the Nested Oval Borders Metal Diecuts over the sentiment and cut out with the diecut machine.

I cut another oval diecut out from another piece of patterned cardstock from the same paper pad and glued to the back of the sentiment. I also stamped a party hat onto a piece of White Cardstock and fussy cut out.

I added Foam Pop Dots to the back of the diecut and placed on top of the lid.

Oakland is One Birthday Banner

Hi everyone! I’m back this week with a banner I created for my grandson’s first birthday using Momenta stickers and cardstock! My grandson actually turned one on the 3rd but with my son and daughter in law moving into a new house they postponed his party until the end of the month so they could have everyone see their house and celebrate Oakland’s birthday.

I started by cutting a banner pattern from white paper. The larger banner is 8″x 5 1/8″ and the smaller banner is 6″x 4 1/4″. I cut a “v” in the bottom of each banner patten.

I picked and off white and olive color cardstock from the 8″x8″ Gemstones Paper Pad and cut a total of six banners, three of each size, and adhered the smaller on top of the larger banner.

I selected from the Wood Print Sans Serif 4 Inch Stickers and added the letters “O”, “N”, and “E” to each banner.

I used the rest of the off white and yellow cardstock to create the elephant, giraffe and lion diecut. Before cutting I added Adhesive Sheet to the back of the cardstock. Then I cut each of the diecuts with the Freestyle Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and put together before gluing to the banner.

I punched holes on each side of each banner and then strung cording through each hole and cut and tied several ribbons to each end of the banners. And there you have it! I can’t wait to celebrate with my little nugget his first birthday! As always if you have questions about this project please let me know.
