Hi everyone! I am back with a quick and easy tag I created using, you guessed it, scraps from my desk. I used the largest tag from Eileen Hull’s Waterfall Card and Tags Thinlits as the base for my tag. Anyways, let’s get started!
First, I had cut two of the largest tags out from the Waterfall Card and Tags Thinlits since the cardstock I used wasn’t double sided. I glued both tags back to back and lightly inked around both sides with a light green chalk ink.
Second, I gathered an assortment of scraps of cardstock and adhered to the tag. I used one “postage stamp” from the Snail Mail Thinlits and a button from the Card Case Diecut, these were already in my stash, and I added them to the tag as well.
Third, I fussy cut two feathers, bird house and the floral and feather arrangement from the Farm Sweet Farm Paper Collection.
I adhered the bird house to the tag but the two feathers I shaped with a Stylus and placed Foam Pop Dots to the back of the floral arrangements before placing all to the tag.
Fourth, I applied Liquid Gloss to the floral arrangement and let dry.
Fifth, on the back side of the tag I kept it simple and flat. I gathered more scraps of cardstock, some were negatives of images that I had cut out and I thought that would be pretty cool to add to the tag. I adhered all to the tag.
Sixth, the “I call it enjoying my own company” sentiment I cut from a larger piece of cardstock. I matted with cardstock before gluing to the tag. I picked a woman from the Mini Paper Dolls and added her to the tag to finish.
