Hi everyone! Can you believe it is only 6 more months and Christmas will be here?!?! Yep, I said the “C” word and in July too. Eek! But I have found out if I don’t start creating some of the things now for Christmas most of the time it won’t get finished since I am so busy with family get togethers, shopping, wrapping presents, etc. and that makes for one insane and crazy gal meaning me.
So I am here to share a 300 count matchbox I altered using the Farmhouse Christmas Fabric Panel and cardstock from Canvas Corp. The panel I received is an assortment of different old time country farm images. I chose the sled image since it was the perfect size for the top of the matchbox. I spritzed some Tattered Angels Crushed Shells glimmer mist into a bowl and added a couple drops of water to it. Mixed and then painted the sled and once dry I fussy cut out.
I added ivory colors trim to both ends, along with buttons, flat back pearls and sequins.
