Faith, Love, Hope and Luck Tag

Hi everyone and happy first day of March! I wanted to share a tag I created using the Authentique Calendar Collection, Mandala Thinlit Diecut and the flowers and leaves from the Folio Page, Pocket and Flower Thinlit Diecuts.

I started by selecting the March cardstocks from the Calendar Collection. I cut the solid double sided green cardstock 5 1/8″x10 1/2″ (size of a #12 tag) and punched a hole in the top of the tag.

From the same collection I cut, inked edges and adhered patterned cardstock to both sides of the tag.

I cut one Mandala Die out of warm white cardstock and glued to the tag. Next I fussy cut the woman with horseshoe and the horseshoe with shamrocks and flowers out and I adhered the smaller horseshoe image to the bottom corner of the tag.

The larger image I shaped the shamrocks, placed Foam Pop Dots to the back and placed onto the tag. I added lace, cording and thread bows along with flowers and sprigs I had cut from the Folio Page, Pocket and Flower Thinlit Dies.

Before adhering the flowers and sprigs to the tag I shaped and added a glossy dot to the center of each flower. I placed foam pop dots to the back of sentiment before adding a cardstock mat and adhering to the side of the tag.

The back side of the tag I fussy cut a woman with harp, Erin Go Bragh sentiment and postage stamps out and adhered to the tag.

I didn’t “bulk up” this side of the tag with many layers. I placed foam pop dots on the back side of the March verbiage before placing at an angle on the tag. I cut and shaped flowers and leaves from the Folio Page, Pocket and Flower Thinlit Dies and adhered to either side of the March sign. I finished by adding a glossy dot to the center of each flower and thread, lace and cheese cloth.

As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know. Also if you want to see more projects using the diecuts I used you can hop over to Eileen Hull’s blog to see what the Inspiration and Educator Teams have been up to. You can find her blog HERE.
