Creepy Haunted House Album was so fun to create! I cut several pages from various cardstock, book pages, etc and added all sorts of spooky embellishments. I also did a mini flip thru video to show how the inside turned out.
Welcome Baby house was created for a baby shower that I was invited to. I also used the Box, Square Diecut item # 658058 to create the walls of the house.

Beach Front House is, of course, and actual gift card holder and I used a metal clasp to keep the door closed.

Pencil Pocket

Hi everyone! I am back with yet another project from Eileen Hull’s newest Heartfelt Diecut Collection. This time I decided to create a pencil pocket with the Journal Diecut and the best part of this is there is no sewing involved whatsoever. 😀


I started by cutting two Journal Diecut Covers from Canvas.


I pinned one side of the pocket cover down past the holes to create a flap.


I ran a line of 3 in 1 adhesive around the edge of the pocket that has the flap and then lined up and placed on top of the other and firmly pressed down to make sure the adhesive stuck together.


I added Pom Pom trim around the outer edge of the pocket.

On the back side of the pocket I added a decorative trim to cover the little holes. 😊


On the front of the pocket I adhered a large piece of lace over the top of the folded side.


Last but not lease I added three sets of velcro dots to the pocket. Now I have a stylish pencil carrier to hold all my goodies. You can see what the Eileen’s Inspiration Team has created with these diecuts HERE and HERE. Also if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Eileen Hull: Journal Envelope Pocket

Hi there! I am back for the third day in a row with another project I created for Eileen Hull’s booth at CHA/Creativation. This journal pocket I created for my foam-dori using the House/Pocket Stitchlits Diecuts. 

I cut four house/pocket diecuts from felt and “stacked” each diecuts end up on end (line up the holes) before stitching together because if you don’t it will make it hard to stitch all four pieces of felt together. I stitched the sides together to create pockets and the flaps I stitched individually.  I used cross stitch thread and did a back stitch on all edges. You can Google or Bing back stitching if you are unsure how to do this stitch.

The bottom flaps I used Fabri-Tac to adhere it to the pocket and the top flaps I added a velcro dot to keep each pocket closed.

I also cut a couple of felt flowers diecuts from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Collection and adhered to the flaps of the pocket journal. Now there is a place to hold stickers and washi tape samples in the foam-dori journal. Foam-dori Journal

Hi there! I am back again with yet another project that I created for Eileen Hull’s booth at CHA/Creativation.  This diecut I am very excited about its release since it can be used to make planners or dori’s as they are called. 
I used the Journal Diecut to cut the front and back of the journal from foam. I adhered the front and back together at the spine.


I used Fabri-Tac to adhered lace to the outside of the spine and inside. I also added Ric Rac and Pom Pom trim to dress up the outside of the dori.


I dressed up the inside of the dori with large Ric Rac and a lace pocket to hold notes, receipts or stickers.
I threaded elastic cording through the holes twice and tied off. This will hold four notebooks and in the center I threaded more elastic cording through the spine and tied off. This will keep this dori closed.

Planner Tassels and Planner Clips

Hi everyone! I am back to share  a couple of quick and easy projects for your planner using Eileen Hull’s newest diecuts from the Heartfelt Collection. I created these for Eileen’s booth at CHA/Creativation. 
For the planner tassel I cut a couple of flowers from felt using the Stitchy Flower and Leaf Diecuts and twelve 8 inch strips of ribbon and fiber. Next I gathered all the ribbon and fiber and ran it through a small metal ring (the ring I found in the jewelry section of Hobby Lobby), folded in half and made sure it was even before tying off with thread. I adhered the flowers together with a Dew Drop and then glued on top of the thread. I cut a Ball Chain down and ran through the metal ring and then attached to the planner. 

For the planner clips I used Bird and Butterflies Diecuts and a variety of scraps of felt to cut the diecuts out. For both the bird and butterfly I adhered the pieces together and then glued to the top of a large paper clip. For the bird I added sequin, mini flower, dew drop and for the butterfly I added a scrap of lace, button, sequin and dew drop to finish both off.
All of these project took maybe an hour and that was only because I had to hunt for supplies so I would say you could knock several out if you are more organized than me. 😉

Eileen Hull: Flower Basket

Hi everyone! I am  so excited to share my first project from CHA/Creativation using Eileen Hull’s newest Heartfelt Collection! This little flower basket is created with the new Basket Diecut, Mat Board and the Basket Weave Embossing Folder.

After all the pieces to the basket was cut out and embossed I spritzed all the pieces (both sides) with Tattered Leather Glimmer Mist and once dry I splattered with Gold Glimmer Mist. I then put it together according to the direction of the packaging.

I used a scrap of white cardstock and I cut out and painted three of the flowers and a leaf from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts. Once dry I shaped, glued together and added a Dew Drop to the center of the flower.  

I adhered the flower between the basket handles with a couple of loops of thread and added lace to the top edges of the basket to finish it off. Basic How to on Stitching a Journal Together

Hi everyone! I get asked a lot on how to put together journals and I thought I would do a mini tutorial. For the cover of my journal I used a card that I had purchased in a set from Michaels…you know the ones you can get for a $1.50. 😊

First I raided my stash of cardstock and threw in a doily and paper bag that my silver ware came in from Chili’s for the pages inside of my journal. This journal will have a total of five pages. You can add more pages but keep in mind once you decorate the pages (unless all you are going to do is use it to write in) it will become quiet chunky.

I clipped all the pages together gather before looking holes in the spine. I spaced my holes one inch a part on the spine.

I placed my pages on a piece of foam before using my Tool ‘n One to punch holes in the spine. This way you don’t damage your table top while punching holes.

I filled over the pages to make sure everything looked ok and then I added the cover which I centered the pages and clipped it back together. I then punched through the holes of the pages and cover. You could clip the cover and pages all together but personal I have mis-punched the spine and it not be in the center.

I use a thick cotton thread to stitch the spine with. I stitch every other hole and then come by through on the other side.

I tie off the thread inside of the journal which I plan on adding tiny hearts to the extensions on thread. You can tie it off on the outside of the journal and add beads or ribbon to the spine. The choices on what you can do is endless.

Butterfly Angel Journal Part Two

Hi everyone! I am back with part two of my butterfly angel journal for Tsunami Rose Designs! If you didn’t catch part one of how I decorated this cover you can find that post HERE.


I used leftover printables from last month’s tag project for Tsunami Rose which included  Ephemera Set #12, Junk Journal Kit-Rose Notecards, and Rose Clipart Floral Set #14.

I kept the bulky embellishments to a minimum by using glitter, sequins, flowers and mini gems since this little journal contains lots of pockets for tags and journaling cards.


There are three signatures in this little journal with three papers per signature which turned out being one chunky little monkey! 🐒

Butterfly Angel Journal Part One

Hi everyone! I am here today to share my project this month using Eileen Hull’s ColorBox Blends with the Passport Diecut. The Inspiration Team has shown several different ways to use the ColorBox Blends and you can find those post HERE, HERE and HERE.


For my project I cut the Passport Diecut from Mat Board. I have a large piece of glass that I use as a pallet (very easy to clean afterwards) and I applied Tutu and Wildberry Blends and watered both colors down. Next I taped a doily stencil to the front cover of my book and applied both colors. Once it was dry I removed the stencil and then applied Sunshine Blends to my pallet, watered down and applied a wash to the cover.


The back cover I embossed with the Lace Medallions Embossing Folder. I watered down Wildberry and Sunshine blends and painted the cover.


While letting the covers dry I embossed the spine with Waffle Embossing Folder and inked over it with the Leaf Blends.


Before adhering the covers and spine together I added Stickles over the doily image on the front cover and once dry I splattered with Coconut and Nutmeg Blends. Adhered all pieces together and glued Ric Rac to dress up the edge of the spine.


I had made several frozen Charlotte dolls with Makers Mix but hadn’t found the right project to use them in so I thought this project would be the right time to add one to the cover of my journal. I watered down the Coconut Blends and painted the first coat over the whole doll.


Once the first coat was dry I watered down Nutmeg Blends and applied randomly to the doll and once that was dry I sealed it with Fast Finish Decoupage.


I added fussy cut roses printables, twine and metallic thread to the front cover. Next I adhered butterfly wings to the back of the doll along with a bookplate to finish off the cover.


I tied three papers per signature to the inside of the journal and finished off the spine with a variety of seam binding, ribbon, lace, etc. Later this week I will be sharing the inside of my journal. So be sure to keep an eye out for that blog post. 😊
