Dragon’s Lair Den: Fall Bingo Rolodex Card

Hi everyone! It’s me and I’m here to share a quick and easy rolodex card I created for the Dragon’s Lair Den blog using this month’s featured Francheska Collection.
I started out by printing off a 4″x6″ lined and floral digital image from the Francheska Collection Paper which I then cut with my Sizzix rolodex die. I also inked the edges of the rolodex card.

Next I printed the Bingo card, bow band, feather and leaves from the Francheska Collection Elements. I fussy cut all images out and layer out on the rolodex card until I found a placement I liked. Then I adhered the images to the card but left room to where I could glue cording behind it.

Next I added some Crystal Stickles to the feather and leaves and finished off the card with a small button in the center of the flower.

If you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Supplies Used:

Sizzix: Card Telephone and Address Diecut, Cord, Button, Chalk Ink, Crystal Stickles

Crafty Card Gallery: Be Thankful

Hi everyone! It’s me and I’m here to share a quick card I created for the this month’s challenge over at the Crafty Card Gallery blog. We had to create a card in the theme of Fall which could be either leaves, fall colors, pumpkins or thanksgiving.
I started with a 6″x12″ piece of polka dotted cardstock which I folded in half to created a 6″x6″ card base. I cut four pieces of cardstock/scrapbook paper down to fit the front of the card which I then adhered to the middle of the card.

Next I printed off the turkey and “Be Thankful” images. I fussy cut the turkey out and the be thankful sentiment I cut from the whole saying Keep Calm and Be Thankful. I adhered the image to the card and added stickles to the leaf, turkey and acorns.

I adhered a small piece of cardstock to the corner of the card along with the sentiment and a button.

A very easy card other than the fussy cutting. 🙂 If you have any questions please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Dragon’sLair Den: The Witch in the Moon

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share my project for this month using the Trick or Treat Collection from the Dragon’s Lair Den. I altered a 4 oz can to hold a special treat. 🙂

From the Trick or Treat Collection Paper Pack I choose the “purple witch” image which I set my printer on the #10 business envelope setting and printed onto a sheet of white cardstock. I trimmed to fit and  then adhered to the can. I added Diamond Dew Drops to the bottom and lace to the top of the can.

Next I printed Trick or Treat Journaling Cards and fussy cut the witch out which I added a little chalk pastels to her and then lightly outlined her with a sharpie. I added Crystal Stickles to the moon. I set that aside to dry. Next I cut a piece of burlap ribbon to fit a mini October desk top calendar which I adhered to the top of the ribbon, added some bling to two of the edges and glued one corner to the can. The scrap leftover from fussy cutting the witch out I punch three leaves that I crumpled up , inked and adhered to the can along with the witch image. I finished off with sequin, dew drop and cording to make this spooky cute treat holder.

The Baby’s Debut

Hi everyone! I’m here to share a very quick project I created using more of my scraps of cardstock and scrapbook paper. Like the Hello Friend card that I shared a few days ago the base is 3″x5 1/2″. I added scraps which I inked the edges and adhered to the top of the card. This digital image is one in several on a collage sheet I purchased a few years ago on etsy. I was going to include the link but the shop is no longer open. I adhered the image to the card along with a clear sequin and a Pearl Dew Drop. Pretty easy huh? 🙂

Also I wanted to share that my step daughter is pregnant which will be my hubby’s first grandchild and mine too…unless you want to count the dogs as grandkids that my son and his girlfriends has. 😉
I’m not sure if I’m going to use this as a card or as a page in a baby junk journal. We will see as time draws near.

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Thursday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Dragons Lair Designs: The Shoe Fairy

Hi everyone! I am super excited to be sharing my first design project for the Dragons Lair Designs! This month’s featured product is from the Southern Comfort Collection. After pondering on what I could create with all these wonderful digital images this is what I came up with.
First I printed one of the Southern Comfort Paper onto a 5″x7″ sheet of cardstock. Then I ran the paper through my diecut machine to cut out the Rolodex card. If you don’t have a Rolodex diecut you can find a Rolodex punch at your local office supply store that can punch the notches in the bottom of the card. The Rolodex card is approximately 4 1/2″x2 1/2″.

Next I fussy cut individual images out from Southern Comfort Cluster Pack and Southern Comfort Elements digital packs which I inked edges and added Stickles to give some of the images a little glitter. Then I adhered to the top of the Rolodex and embellished with fun and whimsical crafty goodness.

The Southern Comfort Free Journal Card Sheet I fussy cut the woman with the violin out, applied pastel chalks to her dress, face and violin and glued one of the feathers to her back and then adhered her into the shoe. Both of these images where cut out from the Southern Comfort Cluster Pack. I also punched a crown from the leftover scraps that was printed and added pastel chalk to give it a little color. There you have it my whimsical little Shoe Fairy Rolodex card! I hope this has inspired you to create one for yourself. Please be sure to stop by the Dragons Lair Designs and check out the Southern Comfort Collection. There is just so much you can do with this collection!

Fall Splendor Card

Hi everyone! I am here to share a quick Fall card I created for a swap I am in.
I started out with a piece of cardstock which I folded in half to make a 3″x6″ card base. Then I stamped the leaf image onto a piece of cream colored cardstock, inked all edges, added bling, cut more cardstock  to frame the image and adhered to the base.

I adhered scraps of cardstock and sentiment digital image to the top of the card.

I finished off the card with a button, sequin, dew drop and twine. The only hard thing was added the tiny bling to the leaf other than that easy peasy! 🙂

Also I am submitting this card for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge 150.

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Enjoying a Dog Gone Good Day

Hi everyone! I created a card for my son’s girlfriend. Her birthday was yesterday and we won’t be getting together until later on but I just had to share. 🙂
She fosters dogs until she can find a forever home so I thought I would do something in a dog theme for her.
I cut a 6″x6″ piece of striped cardstock for the front of the card, cut a 5 1/2″x5 1/2″ piece of Gold and Pink Daisy Glitter Cardstock, inked the edges and then adhered to the base. Next I printed out the dog digi image and fussy cut it out, stamped the “enjoy” sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock and then I glued cut frames of cardstock for the sentiment and dog image, adhered each to the frame and then to the base. I finished off with punched flowers which I shaped, butterfly, ribbon, baker’s twine and dew drops.

The easel I cut a 6″x 11″ piece of cardstock and folded at 4″, 4″, 1″, 1″, 1″ and I glued the 1″ flap to the back of the 4″ flap to create an easel. I cut from the leftover cardstock a pocket which I added glue to three of the sides and placed on the back of the easel. Next I adhered the card base to the easel and waaa-laaa! I simply and fun card! 🙂

I am submitting this card for the following challenges:

Hope Whispers

Hi! I’m back to share a quick card I created for Paper Wings Productions August “Anything Goes Challenge”  you can do any type of project as long as it has some type of stamping on the it. I had ordered the Tea Time Mix Media Kit from Paper Wings and received this free Hope Whispers cling stamp with my purchase. I had already started this card and thought this sentiment would be the perfect touch to finish off my card.

The card base is 3″x5 1/2″ folded. I inked the base and all scraps of cardstock with chalk ink and adhered to the front of the card. I fussy cut the Digital Bird Image and stamped the Hope Whispers sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and adhered both to the card. I finished off with a sequin and Dew Drop

It is a perfect little card to give someone a lift and to tell them not to give up.
Be sure to stop by and play in this month’s challenge over at Paper Wings Productions!
