Blooming Birthday Folded Card

Hi everyone! I am back again with another fun project that I created using Eileen Hull’s newest Gift Card Folder and Label 2 Diecut but I turned it into a fun little card.

I started this project by placing a piece of White Chipboard on top of the Gift Card Folder and Label #2 Diecut, running it through the Diecut Machine and I folded all four sides of the diecut down. I inked a glass tray with Melon and Wildberry Blends Inks, added water to each ink and placed the diecut in the ink mixture. I covered completely on both sides of diecut. Once I had it covered I removed and let dry.
I placed each flap of diecut into the Damask 2 Embossing Folder and run through the diecut machine. I cut a strip of patterned cardstock 1/2″x8″, wrapped around the folded card and adhered the ends together to create a belly band. Next I placed the heart stamp from the Bible Clear Stamps onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of Watercolor Paper  I inked two Art Daubers with Salmon and Princess Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and inked the center of the heart with Salmon and the outer edges of the heart with Princess. I fussy cut only the stamped heart out.

I inked the glass tray with Caribbean Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink, added water to the ink and painted a scrap of watercolor paper. Once dry I inked the Simple Dots Rollagraph with Tahiti Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and rolled onto the painted scrap of watercolor paper. I punched a circle from paper and adhered to the belly band. I cut a “v” in a small scrap of decorated watercolor paper and adhered to the circle punch on the belly band along with stamped heart, flower and a leaf from my stash. I also added a gem to center of flower.

I placed the Blooming Birthday stamp and the leaves stamp from the Blooming Floral Diecuts and Stamps onto the MISTI Stamping Tool and inked both with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper.

I placed the matching diecut over the stamped sentiment and leaves, secured both with washi tape and run through the diecut machine. I inked the glass tray with Inchworm Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink, added water and painted the stamped leaves image. I adhered the sentiment, stamped leaves and flower which was from my stash and added sequins and a gem to center of flower. There you have it a small card that can be added to a birthday present. I think I might try and do some different theme cards just for the fun of it. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Pull Yourself Together Card

Hi everyone! I am back with another quick and easy card I created! As I had mentioned in a previous blog post ColorBox closed their doors July 31st and I still have a few projects that I created using their product…I know I am slow getting them posted…sorry there is only so much of me to go around in a day but I am getting there. 😕

I started by inking a glass tray with the following Dyestress Blendable Dye Inks: Salmon and Bumble Bee inks, added water, loaded a paint brush and randomly added the ink mixture to the Tiny Dots Creative Card front and then I let dry. I placed the Swirl Dot Art Screen on top of card, inked an Art Dauber with Tomato Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and rubbed over the art screen. Once I achieved the desired effect I was after I removed the art screen.

I placed the Scallop Square Cutting Template on top of a piece of Watercolor Paper, placed between cutting plates and run through the Diecut Machine.I inked the glass tray with Bumble Bee Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink, added water and placed the scallop square diecut in the ink mixture and once the diecut was completely covered I removed and let dry. I placed the Pull Yourself Together sentiment from the Buttercup Clear Stamps onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto the scallop square diecut. Next I inked an art dauber with Princess Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and inked the edges of scallop square diecut and adhered to the card base.

I placed a piece of watercolor paper on top of the Intricate Flowers Border Diecut, placed between cutting plates and run through the diecut machine. I inked art daubers with the following Dyestress Blendable Dye Inks: Fruit Punch, Princess and Inchworm and inked the intricate flowers border diecut and glued to the lower half of the card base. I inked the Mandala Heart Wood Stamp with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper. Then inked a glass tray with Princess Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink, added water and painted the stamped Mandala Heart image and let dry. I fussy cut the heart image out with scissors, added Foam Pop Dots to the back and placed on the card. I then inked two art daubers with Tomato  and Posy Dyestress Blendable Dye Inks and inked the lower half of the heart image.

Next I placed the heart stamp from the Thankful Clear Stamps onto the MISTI Stamping Tool and inked with Posy Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper. I fussy cut the heart image out with scissors and adhered to the larger heart.I finished by adding tulle and thread behind the larger heart. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Burlap and Flower Thanks Card

Hi everyone! I am back today with a quick and easy card I created with a pre-bought card base that is the Burlap Creative Card.

I started by inking Art Daubers with the following chalk inks: Misty Meadow French Blue and Twist-Arctic Deep Chalk Inks. I inked over the Burlap Creative Card with the Arctic Deep Chalk on the outer edges of card and French Blue Chalk Ink in the center of card.

I placed the decorative heart stamp from the Bible Clear Stamp Set onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper. I stamped out the image three times. I inked an art dauber with Blush Rose Chalk Ink from the Soft Pastel Chalk Petal Point and inked all of the decorative heart images. Once dry I fussy cut the hearts out with Scissors.

I inked an Art Dauber with Alabaster Chalk Ink from the Soft Pastel Petal Point Chalk and inked over a leftover piece of Handwritten Creative Cards and adhered to front of card base. Next I inked the Thanks Wood Stamp with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of Watercolor Paper. I cut out the sentiment with a Paper Cutter  and I inked an art dauber with Arctic Deep from the Twist Chalk Inks, inked the edges of the sentiment and adhered to the bottom corner of card.

I inked the Leafy Border Rollagraph…I couldn’t find the actual leaf rollagraph but did find the moulding mat in the leaf border on Amazon…same thing just doesn’t roll 😁…with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and rolled onto a piece of watercolor paper. Next I inked the leaf with Ice Jade Chalk Ink from the Misty Meadow Chalk Inks and fussy cut the stamped leaf out with scissors. Lastly I added a dot of adhesive to the center of each decorative hearts and place on top of each other and bent the “petals” to create a flower. I adhered the leaf to back and added a button to the center of flower and added to the front of the card.

Love You Card

Hi everyone! Can you believe it is already August?!?!? I blinked and summer is almost over! 😳 I’ve been busy these last couple of months and really haven’t had a chance to enjoy time in the pool like I normally do. Oh well, I’m getting ready to change that! 😎 While I am here I want to share a card I created for Momenta!

I had a bunch of leftover cardstock scraps from another project so I decided I would try and come up with something from what I had on hand and this is what I came up with. I started with a 4 1/4″x7 1/4″ folded piece of cardstock from the Momenta Basic Paper Pad (retired).
I cut a piece of cardstock from the Watercolor Metallic Paper Pad to 3 1/2″x7 1/4″ and adhered to the front of the card base. From the same paper pad I cut a Rectangle Diecut from stripped metallic cardstock and adhered to the card base.

Next I placed a 4″ yellow polka dot Watercolor Doily and a scrap of cardstock that I cut a “v” in the end to create a banner onto the card.

I cut “love you” and the decorative heart diecuts from the Romance Pack Cutting Template from cardstock scraps from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad.

I had a scrap of an Intricate Border Diecut leftover that I added to the card along with “love you” sentiment and decorative heart diecuts. I added a fabric flower and leaf from my stash with sequin and gem to the center of the flower and gems to the decorative heart diecut to finish off my card. Bless the USA Card

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a 4th of July card I created for ClearSnap with you all today!

I started by inking  an Art Dauber with Peacock Pigment Ink from the Taos Petal Point Collection and ink over front of the Burlap Creative Card.

I inked the Pledge Allegiance Stamp with Wicked Black Pigment Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of white cardstock. I cut the stamped image to 4″x5″ and roughed up edges of stamped image. Next I inked an art dauber with Chianti Pigment Ink from the Taos Petal Point Collection and inked the edges of stamped image. I rolled the bottom edge of the stamped image under and adhered, added Foam Pop Dots to back and placed to the corner of card base.

I inked the letter “U” of the USA Wood Stamp with Abyss Pigment Ink and the “SA” with Chianti Pigment Ink from the Taos Petal Point Collection and stamped onto a piece of white cardstock. I cut a “v” in the end to create a banner and added foam pop dots to back and place on lower half of card base.

From the Thankful Clear Stamps Set I placed on the MISTI Stamping Tool and inked the “BLESS” stamp with Chianti Pigment Ink and the “HEART” stamp with Abyss Pigment Ink and stamp both onto a piece of white cardstock. I cut the “BLESS” image out and inked an art dauber with Chianti Pigment Ink and inked the edges of the “BLESS” image. I cut with a pair of scissors the “T”, “H” and “E” from the “HEART” image out and adhered above the USA banner. I added foam pop dots to back of “BLESS” image and place above the word THE.

I adhered red tulle, thread, star and a sequin with red pearl to USA banner. I adhered a star and red pearl to top of the pledge allegiance image and added three clear glossy dots to bottom corner of card.

And there you have it! What do you do for the 4th of July? Cookout? Spend the day at the beach or just enjoy the day with family and friends? Also always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Always be an Original Card

Hi everyone! I am back with a quick card I created using some inks and a creative card by ColorBox. Last week was very crazy because my husband had a health scare and wound up being sent to the ER by his personal doctor and then was admitted to the hospital and kept over night for a procedure. 😳 So all my big plans for being productive and posting for last week was put on hold. But anyway…lets get started!

I stamped the Escape Pigment Ink onto a glass tray, add water to each color and painted around the building images on Cityscape Creative Card

I used a “dappling effect”with the Paint Brush to create a cloudy look on the base of the card and then I let dry.

I cut two strips of patterned cardstock and adhered near the top of the card. Next I cut out one house from the House One Diecuts (Spellbinders retired) or you can cut a house out by hand. I adhered the house diecut to the card and add mini gems to the top of the house die to create a roof.

I printed from the computer the sentiment “Always be an Original”, punched out with a decorative punch, inked around the edges with the Escape Pigment Ink and adhere to the card.

I punched two flowers and two leaves from patterned cardstock, shape and glue to the sentiment and house. I  also added flat back pearls to the center of each flower and adhered a couple loops of thread underneath one of the flowers. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is awesome and enjoy creating!

A Heart Full of Thanks Card

Hi everyone! I  know I have been missing in action but I traveled to Arizona to attend Creativation and let me just say it was lots of seminars, meeting new people, networking and getting to see the latest products that will be coming out this year! Plus once home I had another deadline to meet…you know how that goes? But I will share more about my time there later. 😃
I would like to share a quick card I created for ClearSnap. I started by inking the Swirl Heart Stamp with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of blush Momenta cardstock.

I fussy cut the heart image out and add flat back pearls.

I folded a 6″x6″ piece of patterned cardstock, from the MME On Trend Paper Pad, in half to create a 3″x6″ card base. I cut one 2″x6″, one 7/8″x6″ and one 1/4″x6″ from the On Trend Paper Pad and inked the edges with Platinum Ink. I adhered the three strips of cardstock to the base of the card and glued the heart image to the corner of the card.

I inked the Thanks Stamp with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges with Platinum InkI cut a cardstock mat to frame the Thanks sentiment and inked the edges of both the frame and sentiment with Platinum Ink. I adhered the frame and the sentiment together before gluing to the card.

I punched a mini flower and a leaf sprig from cardstock and adhered to the corner of the sentiment. I also added a flat back pearl to the center of the flower.
As always if you have questions about this card please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by hope you Thursday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Hello Flip Card

Hi everyone! I’m back with a quick card I created. I started by placing mint green cardstock on top of the Ornate Flip-its #2 Card Diecut and ran through the Diecut Machine.

Next I cut 1 5/8″x4 1/4″, 1″x4 1/4″ and 1/2″x4 1/4″ pieces of patterned cardstock. I also cut from vellum a Tear Drop Circle Diecut with the diecut machine and adhered all pieces to the “flip-its” section of the card.

I inked the Hello stamp with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges with Ice Jade Chalk Ink and adhere to card. I cut four flowers and a leaf sprig from Crinoline fabric with the Journaling Cards Flowers and Leaves Diecuts and inked a glass tray with Salmon and Posy Dyestress Blendable Dye Inks. I added water to each color and place flowers into ink mixture and then removed and let dry.
I cleaned the glass tray and ink with Shamrock and Citronella Dyestress Blendable Dye Inks. I added water to each ink and placed the leaf sprig diecut in each color. and removed and let dry.

I added a drop of adhesive to the center of three of the flowers and placed each flower on top of each other and pinched in the center and fluff. I glued the leaf sprig with only three leaves to the back of the flower and adhered next to the Hello sentimentI finished the front of the card by adding a sequin and flat back pearl to the center of the flower.

I cut a strip of white cardstock for the backside of the “flip-it”section of the card and adhere and added a small flower and two leaves to the white cardstock. I finished off with a sequin and flat back pearl to the center of the flower.

As always if you have any questions or just want to leave a comment please let me know.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, hope your Thursday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Let’s Make Up! Card

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a quick card I created with y’all today. I had a box of 3 1/2″x5″ blank cards and envelopes that I had picked up at the Target Dollar Spot. The cards are a solid color and I thought they would be perfect to decorate.

I used an assortment of scraps to decorate this card. I added a floral cardstock mat to the front of the card. I printed off this “make up” girl from Lisa Altered Art on etsy and fussy cut the image out and adhered to the corner of the card.
I punched from patterned cardstock a couple of mini flowers, leaf sprig, butterfly, banners and two type of seal punches and adhered to the upper corner of the card. I also added twine, gems and sequins.

I printed from the computer the “I’m sorry…Lets Make Up!” sentiment. I cut, matted with cardstock and glued to the card base. I love the little girl and the quirky sentiment! 😄 As always if you have any questions about this card please let me know.

I would like to submit this project for the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday Challenge: #350-#351
Crafter’s Castle: Challenge #9

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is wonderfully awesome and enjoy creating!

Dog Gone Birthday Card

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a quick card I created with y’all today! I had actually started the base of this card a couple of years ago (I only had the pink patterned cardstock on the base of the card) and wound up putting it a side and then completely misplacing it. 😳 I came across it while looking for something else and decided to finally finish it. I started by inking the edges of the card with a chalk ink and then I added the scalloped diecut, banners and I printed the sentiment from the computer.

The girl and dog images are from Lisa’s Altered Art on etsy. I printed and fussy cut the image out and adhered to the card. I cut from patterned cardstock the little party hats which I added to each dog.

I dug into my flower stash and added store bought paper flowers and I also adhered two flowers that I had leftover from a pervious project. These I had cut from Crinoline fabric using the Journaling Cards, Flowers and Leaves Diecuts, inked with ClearSnap ink and added two Glossy Dots. There you have it! A quick and simple card that should have been finished a couple of years ago!😂 As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Also I would like to submit this card for the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday Challenge: #346-#347
Crafter’s Castle: Challenge #8

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is great and enjoy creating!
