Enjoying a Dog Gone Good Day

Hi everyone! I created a card for my son’s girlfriend. Her birthday was yesterday and we won’t be getting together until later on but I just had to share. šŸ™‚
She fosters dogs until she can find a forever home so I thought I would do something in a dog theme for her.Ā
I cut a 6″x6″ piece of striped cardstock for the front of the card, cut a 5 1/2″x5 1/2″ piece ofĀ Gold and Pink Daisy Glitter Cardstock, inked the edges and then adhered to the base. Next I printed out the dogĀ digi image and fussy cut it out, stamped the “enjoy” sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock and then I glued cut frames of cardstock for the sentiment and dog image, adhered each to the frame and then to the base. IĀ finished off with punched flowers which I shaped, butterfly, ribbon, baker’s twine and dew drops.

The easel I cut a 6″x 11″ piece of cardstock and folded at 4″, 4″, 1″, 1″, 1″ and I glued the 1″ flap to the back of the 4″ flap to create an easel. I cut from the leftover cardstock a pocket which I added glue to three of the sides andĀ placed on the back of the easel. Next I adhered theĀ card base to the easel and waaa-laaa! I simply and fun card! šŸ™‚

Hope Whispers

Hi! I’m back to share a quick card I created for Paper Wings Productions August “Anything Goes Challenge”Ā  you can do any type of project as long as it has some type of stamping on the it. I had ordered the Tea Time Mix Media Kit from Paper Wings and received this free Hope Whispers cling stamp with my purchase. I had already started this card and thought this sentiment would be the perfect touch to finish off my card.

The card base is 3″x5 1/2″ folded. I inked the base andĀ all scraps of cardstock with chalk ink and adhered to the front of the card. I fussy cut theĀ Digital Bird ImageĀ andĀ stamped the Hope Whispers sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and adhered both to the card. I finished off with a sequin andĀ Dew Drop.Ā

It is a perfect little card to give someone a lift and to tell them not to give up.
Be sure to stop by and play in this month’s challenge over atĀ Paper Wings Productions!
