Shabby Chic/Vintage Toilet Paper Roll Mini

Hi everyone! I would like to share a mini I created for a swap over at My Scrap Room. We had to use five flattened toilet paper rolls for the inside, a chipboard cover and back, three types of embellishments on each page, tags in each of the “pockets” and last but not least it had to be decorated in a shabby chic/vintage type of theme.

I used a variety of scrapbook paper, My Mind’s Eye: Bramble Rose, Lost and Found Two, Prima, cardstock, embellishments Robin’s Nest Dew Drops, ribbon, lace, buttons, Tim Holtz Swivel Clasp and Tsunami Rose and Ephemera’s Garden printables from their shops and blog.

The mini is so FAT I had to use a swivel hook to keep the mini closed.

The tags for the toilet paper roll “pockets”. I left them blank so my swap partner, Mesha, can either journal, add photos or decorate the way she wants to. 🙂

Some close ups of some of the pages with pull out tags.

I hope this will inspire you to create something fun for yourself or as a gift for someone special.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy creating!!!

My Scrap Room:Springtime Pocket Tag Mini Swap

Hi everyone!!! I’m just now getting around to sharing a project I created for a swap I was in over at the My Scrap Room site. I used the Sizzix Scoreboard Gift Card Holder, House diecut as a bases to start my mini on.  For this swap we had to have five decorated  pockets with five decorated tags and the minimum size they could be was 4″x6″…well I over achieved and this little mini wound up with 16 tags total. lol 🙂 I was very please with how everything turned out and my swap partner, Sarah liked it too.

I used the Sizzix XL diecut Gift Card Holder House to create one of pockets and I also used  Tim Holtz Collage embossing folder to give it a vintage, shabby chic look. The roof I used the Sizzix SU XL die Tasteful Trim on a piece of corrugated cardboard which I distressed and inked.

I also used My Mind’s Eye Bramble Rose collection, a variety of colorful cardstock, trims and embellishments to decorate with.

All the vintage/shabby chic images I used I got over at the Ephemera’s Vintage Garden. I absolutely love all the gorgeous images  that Debbie has over there. So when you get a chance stop by and check it out!!!

The mini pockets on top of the regular size pockets are one of my favorite things about this mini.

Well there you have it a colorful, springy shabby chic pocket tag mini. I hope this inspire you create one for yourself or as a gift. Thanks for stopping by and just remember to enjoy creating!!!
