Tutti Frutti Business Card Holder

Hi everyone! I am back with another project from Eileen Hull’s newest diecut collection the Gift Card Folder and Label 2 Diecut
I placed a piece of Mat Board on top of the diecut and run through the Diecut Machine.

I covered both the inside and outside with cardstock from the My Mind’s Eye Tutti Frutti Paper Pad.
I use mostly Zip Dry Adhesive but I chose to use Fabri-Fix to adhere the flaps together. I started with the first two flaps.
I used a cloth pin to keep the flaps together until they dried and then I added adhesive to the last flap and cloth pinned until dry.
The label diecut I covered with the same paper pad I used on the holder and adhered to the bottom of the holder. I cut several flowers and leaves from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts (retired) and Bookmark, Tag and Pocket Framelits out of the same paper pad.
I shaped the flowers and leaves with a Stylus before adhering to the front of the holder. I added a sequin and a gem to the center of the flower.
On the back side of the holder I added a strip of cardstock to the spool, a bird punched from patterned cardstock and I “wadded” the flowers up and then shaped along with the leaves. I added a brad from the Tutti Frutti Decorative Brads to the center of one of the flowers before adhering all to the backside of the holder.
I completed by adding my business cards to the holder. 😊 Be sure to stopped by Eileen’s blog to see what the rest of the Inspiration Team has been up to. You can find the latest blog post HERE. As always if you have questions about this project please let me know.

Beach Babe House

Hi everyone! I am back this week with a new project for Eileen Hull’s Inspiration Team! I used Eileen’s newest diecut, House Ornament Diecut, from the Chapter 3 Collection and I went with a beach theme for my little house using the Tutti Frutti 6’x6″ Paper Pad and the Tutti Frutti Decorative Brads by My Mind’s Eye.

I started by cutting out two house diecuts from Mat Board with a Diecut Machine. With a pair of Scissors I cut one of the bottom flaps off since it won’t be needed. I adhered the house together according to directions on the packaging.

I added White Frost Metallic Lustre to the smaller Vignette Base and let dry while continuing to work on the beach house.

The little window tag from the house diecut I inked with what was leftover on my Art Dauber and I also cut the cross section out from the window. From the Tutti Frutti 6’x6″ Paper Pad I traced and cut out a swimmer on a float and adhered to the back of the window. I made sure the face showed through the window.
From the same paper pad I cut and adhered patterned paper to the roof but before adhering I inked the edges of the roof with chalk ink. I fussy cut an assortment of flowers and leaves out and adhered to the side of the roof.
I cut three flowers out from the Tag and Pocket Bookmark Diecuts. I slightly crumpled all three flowers and then shaped the edges with a Stylus. I added a brad from the Tutti Frutti Decorative Brads to the flower and adhered a bit of ribbon and yellow thread to the back before gluing to the roof.
I made a small bow with seam binding and covered the center of the bow with a brad from the Tutti Frutti Decorative Brads. I used a small amount of seam binding to tie the roof together and then adhered the bow on top of that. I added a small bow to the window tag and tied that around the seam binding bow. From the computer I printed the sentiment “Beach Babe” which I cut out and adhered to the tag. I fussy cut a small flower and leaves from the paper pad and added to the roof and the corner of the tag. I also added a couple small loops of thread to the corner of the tag.

I cut and adhered patterned paper from the same paper pad to the outside and bottom of the house. I adhered trim to both sides of the roof. I printed the Beach House sentiment and adhered to the front of the house and added blue gems to the top of the roofs on both sides and to either side of the sentiment.

Before adding the swim suit girl from the Tutti Frutti Decorative Brads I changed out the brad and I cut a small flower diecut from the same paper pad using the smallest flower diecut from the Tag and Pocket Bookmark Diecuts and added to the swim suit girl.

I added more fussy cut images from the paper pad to the bottom of the house.
For the life preserver I used a smaller circle punch and punched out the center first and used a larger punch to the punch out the life preserver.

I adhered the base to the bottom of the house and there you have it! Finished! Wouldn’t these make great gifts for small Christmas gifts or add a gift card for a house warming gift. So many possibilities!!! Be sure to stop by Eileen Hull’s blog and see what the rest of the Inspiration Team has been up to. You can find her blog HERE. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

A Heart Full of Thanks Card

Hi everyone! I  know I have been missing in action but I traveled to Arizona to attend Creativation and let me just say it was lots of seminars, meeting new people, networking and getting to see the latest products that will be coming out this year! Plus once home I had another deadline to meet…you know how that goes? But I will share more about my time there later. 😃
I would like to share a quick card I created for ClearSnap. I started by inking the Swirl Heart Stamp with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of blush Momenta cardstock.

I fussy cut the heart image out and add flat back pearls.

I folded a 6″x6″ piece of patterned cardstock, from the MME On Trend Paper Pad, in half to create a 3″x6″ card base. I cut one 2″x6″, one 7/8″x6″ and one 1/4″x6″ from the On Trend Paper Pad and inked the edges with Platinum Ink. I adhered the three strips of cardstock to the base of the card and glued the heart image to the corner of the card.

I inked the Thanks Stamp with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges with Platinum InkI cut a cardstock mat to frame the Thanks sentiment and inked the edges of both the frame and sentiment with Platinum Ink. I adhered the frame and the sentiment together before gluing to the card.

I punched a mini flower and a leaf sprig from cardstock and adhered to the corner of the sentiment. I also added a flat back pearl to the center of the flower.
As always if you have questions about this card please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by hope you Thursday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Be Merry Card

Hi everyone! I back with a Christmas card I had created this past Summer…I have shared these sporadically the last couple of month…and this is the last of that batch. I am sure I will be creating more later on.
I folded a 6″x6″ piece of cardstock from the Lost and Found Christmas Collection from My Mind’s Eye in half to create a base for my card. I cut a piece of gold glitter cardstock to frame the Scalloped Rectangle from Spellbinders and adhered to the front of the card.

The “M” I found at Hobby Lobby on clearance. I painted it white and once dry applied adhesive and sprinkled with glitter.

I cut Be Merry from the same paper collection, punched two small holly leaves which I shaped and adhered to the bottom corner of the “M”. I finished the card off with a little red gem.

I am also submitting this card for the following challenge:

Noel Card

Hi everyone! I am back with another quick Christmas card I created using the Lost and Found Christmas Collection from My Mind’s Eye. The card base is 3″x6″ and I cut a Scalloped Rectangle (from Spellbinders) out of gold glittered cardstock .

I adhered a strip of patterned cardstock, along with a banner and a Noel sentiment I cut out from the collection.

The miniature snowflake is actually an ornament that I cut the hanger off of it before adding to the banner. I finished it off with a sequin and a mini flatback pearl.
If you have any questions about this card or products I used please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your day is awesome and enjoy creating!

C is for Christmas Card

Hi everyone! Can you believe tomorrow is the first day of Autumn? Well, we are still having temperatures in the 90’s and upper 80’s so it definitely doesn’t feel like Fall. It makes me want to go for a swim in my pool. B-) Anyways…I had shared three Christmas cards in July and never got around to share the other three so I am here to share one of the cards with you today. 🙂
I folded cardstock from the Lost and Found Christmas Collection to create a 3″x6″ card base. Next I cut gold cardstock to frame a Long Classic Scalloped diecut from Spellbinders that I cut from patterned cardstock.

I punched out a holly leaf and flowers to create a poinsettia and I finished off with a gold sequin.

The letter “C’ I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I painted it an off white and once dry I added clear glitter and last but not least I cut from the paper collection a sentiment and framed it with a banner. As always if you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your day is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Reindeer and Holly Card

Hi everyone! I am back yet again with another Christmas card using the same 6″x6″ Lost and Found Christmas Pad from My Mind’s Eye which I folded the patterned cardstock to create a 3″x6″ card base.

I cut a scalloped oval diecut from Spellbinders and the Gold Glitter Cardstock Reindeer I only cut the head out.

I adhered a bit of gold trim and punched two small holly leaves out, shaped and added a tiny red gem to the reindeer’s nose and holly leaves.
As always if you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Snowflake Noel Card

Hi everyone! I am back with another quick Christmas card. Like the last card I shared this past Monday I used the 6″x6″ Lost and Found Christmas Pad from My Mind’s Eye. I folded a piece of cardstock from the pad to create a 3″x6″ base for my card.

I cut a diecut from the Scalloped Rectangle from Spellbinders, painted a wooden snowflake and once dry adhered all to the front of the card.

I finished off the card with sequins and tiny flat back pearls. Very quick and easy! If you have any questions about this card please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Friday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Happy Holidays Reindeer Card

Hi everyone! I am here to share a really quick Christmas card (yep I’ve been making Christmas cards 😉 ) I created using cardstock from the Lost and Found Christmas 6″x6″ Pad from My Mind’s Eye. I folded the 6″x6″ piece of cardstock in half to create a 3″x6″ card base. I cut two stripes of plain cardstock and patterned cardstock and adhered to the center of the card base.

I cut a Beaded Circles (Spellbinders) and a small Scalloped circle (discontinued Stampin’ Up! Sizzix Diecut) which I embossed with Powdered Sugar Embossing Folder.

I used the Reindeer Diecut and cut part of the head from Gold Glitter Chipboard and glued in the center of the scalloped circle. I added a small red gem for the nose and then fussy cut a “Happy Holidays” sentiment from the Lost and Found Christmas Collection. This was a very easy and quick card to put together in no time at all.
In the next week I will be sharing more Christmas cards as time permits and if you have any questions about this card please let me know. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Pretty in Pink Altered Cigar Box

Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Ours was great even if we had massive amounts of rain it was still nice to be able to spend it with family. 🙂
After taking a tiny break from social media I am back to share a project I created for a swap I was in with my sweet friend Lisa on Swap-bot.

For this swap we agreed to alter a small cigar box and fill it with planner goodies.

Since one of Lisa’s favorite colors is pink I went with a dusty colored cardstock from My Mind’s Eye for the outside of the box. The image I found on Tammy Tutterow’s site. I sized it down, printed and fussy cut out. I used a combination of buttons, dew drops, store bought and handmade flowers to decorate the lid.

The inside of the box I used the rest of the My Mind”s Eye cardstock and the vintage print cardstock is from a discontinued line from Canvas Corp. Also I forgot to mention that I painted the edges of the box with a cream colored paint (no need to paint the whole box since you won’t be seeing that 🙂 ) and used Antique Mod Podge to adhere all cardstock to the box. Once dry I applied a coat over the whole box to seal it.

The fun part was adding all the goodies. I added journaling cards, sticky notes, shaped paper clips, washi tape and a 4″ book ring so she can add her favorite washi tapes to so she can keep those close at hand. 🙂

There you have it my first project of the year! 🙂 If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Thursday is wonderful and enjoy creating!
