Crafty Card Gallery: You Make Everything Bloom

Hi everyone! I am back to share a card I created from the Crafty Card Gallery blog and this month’s challenge is flowers. I went with pre-made card from K and Company. All I had to do was fold the card in half and the base of my card was ready to decorate. I had actually started this card several months ago. I had added the doily and then put it aside.

I cut from the Beaded Circles Spellbinders die a circle in a bright patterned yellow cardstock and adhered it on the doily. I added various scraps of patterned cardstock on top of the doily and circle.

I printed the garden girl from the computer and fussy cut out and added a line of glue down the middle of the image. and placed on the card. I didn’t want to add glue all over because I need to be able to add flowers, thread and tulle under the image. I punched leaves and small of the flowers from cardstock and shaped and adhered around the girl.

The sentiment is a stamp from Unity Stamp Company. I stamped, cut and adhered to the top corner of the card. I added another flower along Dew Drops and pearl sprays to finish off the card.

Also I would like to submit my card to the following challenges:
And as always if you have any questions about this card please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by hope your Saturday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Whimsical Mushroom Jar Hut

Hi everyone! Today Eileen Hull’s and Stampendous’s design teams have teamed up to do Along the Garden Path blog hop! My project is a combination of Eileen Hull’s Make it 3D and Button Jars and Labels dies and Stampendous’s Mushroom Home stamps and Dies. I thought the shorter jar looked like a mushroom stem and would be perfect since I could cut it from matboard.

I started by cutting two of the jars and one of the make it 3D boxes from Matboard, four jars and one of the make it 3D boxes from patterned cardstock. The mushroom top I used the Stampendous’s die and cut four tops from patterned cardstock.

I inked the jars with a tan chalk ink and adhered the patterned cardstock to all of the mat board pieces. I measured a half of an inch up from the bottom on the backside of each jar and made pencil marks.

I adhered each jar piece to the make it 3D box.

I sandwiched the top of the jars between two of the mushroom top dies and adhered together.

I stamped the circles, door and window on varies pieces of patterned cardstock.

I fussy cut and adhered the individual pieces together and then added to the mushroom.

I added sequins to the mushroom top, a cord bow, paper flowers and Dew Drops to finish it off.

Now its ready to store my pencils. 🙂 If you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Also be sure to check back each day to see what each team member creates from Eileen Hull and Stampendous design teams!

Thanks for stopping by, hope your day is awesome and enjoy creating!

I Believe in You

Hi there! I’m back to share another quick 3″x5 1/2″ card I created using some of my leftover scraps of cardstock and scrapbook paper, along with some die cuts from K & Company, button, sequin and dew drop. Also the sentiment is from Unity Stamps.

Another easy peasy card that didn’t take very long to create! 🙂

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your day is great and enjoy creating!

When Your Giddy Up has Got Up and Left

Hi everyone! I’m here to share a card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery blog. This months theme is animals and this is what I came up with.
I used a pre-cut card base from K & Company’s Julianne collection. I love the fact its cut to size and all you have to do fold. I stamped the Da Vinci Horse from Stampendous! onto a piece of Vanilla Fleur Glitter Cardstock  and adhered to the top of the card base  Next I cut out the “Old Dan” horse which is a free printable from Eclectic Anthology. I roughed up the edges of the printable, added part of an old zipper along the bottom of the printable and glued to the base. I printed the sentiments from the computer, cut out my own banner, used an oval distressed metal pick to adhere both sentiments to the card. I used Dew Drops to finish up my card.

I think this is a fairly easy card to do if I do say so myself. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is awesome and enjoy creating!!!

Design Team Reveal and Christmas Junk Journal

Hi everyone!!! I’m back to share the new design team reveal over at the Robin’s Nest and the best part I am still apart of this awesome company. When you get a chance go over to their blog and see who else is apart of this awesome team!!!

The Robin’s Nest

Also I would like to share a few photos of a Christmas Junk Journal I created for a swap I was in over on Facebook for my sweet swap partner Rachel. Here is a few photos of the front, back and semi chunky charms I added to the spine. I kept the front cover pretty simple. I figured the banner Rachel could put either a date or her own verbiage on it. The inside I added 30 pages which totaled 60 pages front and back and I used two paper lines from Crate Paper and K & Company, Snow Day and Mod Holiday Speciality Paper Pads respectively. I added bits and pieces of found items to the inside too.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Friday is awesome and enjoy creating!!!

Celebrations and Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone! I’m back to share a couple cards I created for a customer. They are really easy and quick to make. The card base is a 6″x6″ piece of cardstock folded to make a 3″x6″ card. I used scraps of scrapbook paper and layered, printed a happy birthday sentiment from the computer and used a flower from K & Company Sweet Nectar Specialty Punch-Out Pad .

Easy peasy!!! 🙂

The next two cards I used the Sizzix Card, Scallop #3 diecut. I used more scraps of scrapbook paper, flower punch out from K & Company, flowers from Close to My Heart and sequins for the center of the flower.

This card I used a Spellbinder diecut…I’m not sure the name of the die since I got this in a swap???, sequins, Prima flower and the Celebrate Big stamp is from Unity Stamps.

This card can be used for birthday, anniversary, new job, etc.

I hope this has given you some inspiration to create some cards for yourself or as a gift for someone special. Thanks for stopping by, hope your day is wonderful and enjoying creating!!!

Mason Jar Thank You

Hi everyone and happy Friday!!! I’m back to share a quick card I created for a customer. I used half of a doily, flower diecut, sequins, twine, scraps of scrapbook paper and the Forever thanks rubber stamp from Unity Stamps and the mason jar stamp is from Inkadinkado. I used a 6″ x6″ piece of cardstock and folded to make a 3″ x 6″ card base.

The Forever thanks sentiment I stamped twice on two different colors of cardstock and cut both out and added one on top of the other to make it look like a seal. It’s a super easy card to make!!!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope your weekend is wonderful and enjoying creating!!!

Lovey Dovey Rolodex

Hi everyone! I want to share a quick project I created for a swap I’m in on Swap-bot for Betty aka sewcrazy and of course I created one for myself. The supplies I used for this cute little rolo are My Mind’s Eye, K and Company, some paper scraps, Stampin’ Up A Little Somethin’ stamp set (Lovey Dovey stamp), buttons, The Robin’s Nest Dew Drops and I used the Sizzix Rolodex die.

The owl is something I came up with on my own. I used a onesie pattern that I cut from a Paper Trey die cut. I cut the arms off of the pattern and used a jar that traced to rounded the bottom of the pattern. The leg opening of the onesie I used a smaller jar that I traced and cut to make the ears. The wings and the beak is a heart…I cut the heart into two pieces to make the wings…and the tummy I used a punch.

I know I definitely want to make some more of these owls whether as cards or I might try my hand at making some little owl pin cushions. Whoooo knows 😉
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day and most of all enjoy creating!!!
