Easter Greetings Junk Journal Pages

Hi everyone! I’m back with a quick project I created for my junk journal and I wanted to share with y’all.

I used lots of leftovers from other projects to create this (the page will slide under the elastic in the journal to hold in place). The base of this page(s) was a diecut I had cut in half and used in another project. I folded in half and on the front page I added diecuts, punches and a bunny printable (image found on the internet) to create a cute Easter scene.

I used stickers, flowers and leaf sprig dies from the Folio Page Pocket and Flower Thinlits, scraps of cardstocks and Pom Pom trim to decorate the edge of one of the pages to create.

The back page I created a pocket with stickers decorating the front and added a tag with patterned cardstock and a little bunny printable. This is such a great way to use up scraps and bits and pieces you have laying around!

Love Postage Stamp Junk Journal Page

Hi everyone and Happy Valentine’s Day! I wanted to hop on and share a quick little junk journal page I created using leftover scraps, bits and pieces of ephemera and a printable girl that is from itKuPiLLiimaginarium. You can find the printable HERE.

I find this is a great way to use up what is laying on my desk and pushes me to get creating in the process. I love how I was able to incorporate a used postage stamp in the layout too. The “Be Mine” tag was from a swap several years ago and is a perfect place for the little girl to “sit”.

I’m slowly adding pages as I can to my junk journal. I shared pages last year on the blog and I had hoped to have the journal filled by now, but…you know…life happens. So maybe this year I’ll get it filled?

DCC and Gwen Studios Blog Hop

Hi everyone! I’m back today with my project I created for the Designer Crafts Connection and Gwen Studios blog hop!

Gwen Studios has a wonderful selection of beautiful ribbons, trims and bows and I’m so excited to be able to use a few of these on my journal page!

I love to use up what scraps of cardstock that I have laying around so I decided to create a page for my journal. First I gathered scraps of patterned cardstocks and the Peach Pom Pom, Tassel and Ribbon Box Set.

I adhered the scraps of cardstocks together and cut a piece of the peach ribbon to fit the bottom of the page. I punched a hole into the ribbon and cardstock on either side of the page. I selected from the Oh Snap! Snap Fastener Kit (online Walmart July 2021) a heart shaped snap, placed into the punched hole and set with the fastener tool.

I cut and glued a piece of the tassel from the Peach Pom Pom, Tassel and Ribbon Box Set to the side of the page.

I added a flamingo and flower diecuts that was laying on my desk to finish the page.

Be sure to stop by the DCC blog to see what the other members of the team have created. You can find the link HERE.

Altered Pages: South Carolina is for Lovers

Hi everyone! I don’t know about you but I do love the beach and I sure do love Folly Beach which is in Charleston, South Carolina. The hubby and I love Folly Beach so much we were married there a couple of years ago. It was the most perfect sunny day in March, out of a not so warm and perfect week of cold, icky and bad weather. But hey…I got my wish of being able to stand barefoot on the beach with the man I love and say our I does. 🙂

The Baby’s Debut

Hi everyone! I’m here to share a very quick project I created using more of my scraps of cardstock and scrapbook paper. Like the Hello Friend card that I shared a few days ago the base is 3″x5 1/2″. I added scraps which I inked the edges and adhered to the top of the card. This digital image is one in several on a collage sheet I purchased a few years ago on etsy. I was going to include the link but the shop is no longer open. I adhered the image to the card along with a clear sequin and a Pearl Dew Drop. Pretty easy huh? 🙂

Also I wanted to share that my step daughter is pregnant which will be my hubby’s first grandchild and mine too…unless you want to count the dogs as grandkids that my son and his girlfriends has. 😉
I’m not sure if I’m going to use this as a card or as a page in a baby junk journal. We will see as time draws near.

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Thursday is awesome and enjoy creating!
