You have all my Heart Tag

Hi everyone! I am back with another Valentine’s Day project I created for ClearSnap inks and stamps!

I started by inking a glass tray with Melon Blends Ink, added water and placed the Tag into the ink mixture and let dry. (Side note tag doesn’t have to be completely covered in ink.) I placed a piece of Acetate on top of the larger Hearts Journaling Card Diecut and place between cutting plates before running through the Diecut Machine. I removed all loose hearts so I could use the whole heart diecut as a stencil for my tag. I placed the heart stencil on top of the tag and loaded an Art Dauber with Rosebud Classic Pigment Ink and rub over the heart stencil. Next I loaded another Art Dauber with Watermelon Classic Pigment Ink and randomly rub over the heart stencil and let dry.

Next I inked the Exotic Mini Molding Mat with a mix of Petal Point Fluid Chalk Ink Pad: Soft Pastel- Alabaster and Creamy Brown Chalk Inks and stamp randomly over the tag and let dry.

I placed the row of hearts from the Thankful Clear Stamp Set onto the MISTI Stamping Tool and ink with Leather Premium Dye Ink and stamped onto the bottom corner of the tag. I glued a scrap of lace and flatback pearls underneath stamped image.

I cut three patterned gold paper straws and adhere together, wrapped with cording and tie and adhered to the tag.

I added five flatback pearls randomly to the stamped hearts.

I inked the Swirl Heart Rubber Stamp with Leather Premium Dye Ink and stamp onto a piece of colored cardstock, fussy cut heart out and adhered to straws. I doubled up two Pop Dots and place under heart.

I added three clear sequins to tag and cut 10 inches of lace, threaded through top and tie off and adhered button to top lace.

As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

T is for Together

Hi everyone! I’ve been one busy little bee crafting away. I have several projects in the works and will be sharing them this month as I finish them.
I’m not sure if I’m going to use this mini or add it in my shop to sell but I wanted to share. It is  4 1/2″x8 1/2″ in size and I created it using various sizes of leftover scrapbook paper, vintage sheet music, tags, doilies, envelope and a printout. I inked the edges in a red ink and then used my bind it all to bind all 35 pages together…that is front and back and I shared all of the pages for you to see. 🙂 There are many spaces to add photos and journaling about that special someone in your life.

If you have any questions please give me a holler and I will do my best to answer. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!

February 14th Matchbox

Hi everyone! Can you believe that there is only two more days until Valentine’s Day??? Have you bought or ordered that special someone candy or roses??? If not you better get out there and order something. 🙂
I’m here to share a 300 count matchbox I altered for a swap I was in for my friend, Norma. It was really easy to create. I used a variety of leftover embellishments I had on hand and the little vintage girl I printed on photograph paper and then fussy cut her out.

The pullout I painted with two coats of soft pink acrylic paint and once dry I Mod Podged and then added scrapbook paper to each end and to the inside bottom on the pullout.

The little mini paper sack album I created fit perfectly inside.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!

Love Paper Sack Mini Album

Hi everyone!!! I have been sooooo busy creating cards, swaps and design team projects and I just haven’t got around to blogging but I’m now back to share one of my projects I created for a swap I was in on Facebook. We had to altered a 300 count matchbox into a Valentine’s Day theme and add handmade goodies inside of it. Well, I’m going to share the mini album I created using five 4″x6″ paper sacks. I did cut the tops down a little so the mini would fit into the matchbox. I used Baker’s twine to bind it together.

I used bits and pieces of leftover cardstock, scrapbook paper, lace, stickers and images to put this adorable mini together.

I also put together a package of die cuts, stickers, ribbon and dew drops so my swap partner, Norma, could add more to the pages if she wanted to.

Also I shared this mini and matchbox on Maya Roads Facebook page for a challenge they had going on…there is a chance to win a prize package. I have my fingers and toes crossed that I win something. 🙂
Come back Tuesday (treat holder) and Wednesday (matchbox)  to see what I created.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is awesome and enjoy creating!!!

Banner of Love

Hi everyone! It’s me, Tonya and I’m here to share my project that I created for the Chattering Robin’s blog using the Wild About U Collection which is 20% off this month. Also we are cross promoting wonderful laser cut chipboard pieces and die cuts with Gina’s Designs. I came up with an adorable Valentine’s Day banner that I created using small 4″x6″ paper sacks, felt heart shape Christmas ornaments, red foil heart shape doilies and vintage children images some I found on the internet and one I got from a Crafty Secrets sheet of vintage images.

Altered Mini Matchboxes of Love

Hi everyone! I’m here to share two 32 count matchboxes I altered. I used leftover scraps of Sorbet Glitter Cardstock, Red Glitter Stripe Cardstock and Pearl Dew Drops from the Robin’s Nest. Also the little angel sticker is from the Robin’s Nest but I can’t find the link for it. I spruced the angel up with a little Stickles on the wings, gathered a little bit of lace which I adhered to her neck and added a Dew Drop.

The heart I used a small heart punch first on a piece of cardstock and then punched a larger heart around the smaller heart opening to create the outline of a heart.

A little bit of lace, buttons and a Dew Drop and you have a super cute matchbox to fill up with fun little goodies.

If you have any questions just give me a holler. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!
