Hey Friend Tag

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a fun tag I created using a wide assortment of mediums…embossing folder, diecuts, inks, punches, etc. You can say I pretty much used everything but the kitchen sink. 😃

I started with a 6.25″x3.125″ Tag as the base and I embossed with the tag with Tile Embossing Folder. I used the following ColorBox Blends: Sunshine, Melon, Wildberry and Tutu which can be found HERE and HERE which I lightly inked each color over the tag.

I used the Crate Paper Bloom Collection to cut banners and Friend Diecut (Floral Arch and Words Diecuts) before cutting out the friend die I applied an Adhesive Sheet to the back of the cardstock and once the word was cut out I peeled the backing off and added to the tag. Since I couldn’t find a “Hey” stamp I printed that from the computer and adhered it and a sequin to the sentiment.I cut the smaller Wreath Diecut out, added a little green ink here and there for color and adhered to the tag. The vintage ladies I purchased from Lisa’s Altered Art on etsy. You can find this image HERE. I printed and fussy cut the select image out and added to the tag.

From my stash of lace and pom pom trim I adhered those to the bottom of the tag. Next I punched out two leaf sprigs, inked and shaped before digging into my collection of paper flowers which I adhered to the corner of the tag. I finished off the front with a wad of thread.

On the back of the tag I covered with patterned cardstock and added Ric Rac trim and seam binding.

I cut an assortment of diecuts from the Bookplate, Hinges and Label Diecuts and adhered to the tag. I left the back of the tag plain for journaling or adding a small photo.

As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.
Also I would like to submit this project for the following Challenges:

Precious Friends

Hi everyone! I am here to share a quick post of a card I created. About a month ago me and the hubby went to the Scrapbook Expo that was in Duluth, Georgia. I had won a pair of tickets to get in free off Instagram from Spellbinders, even though it was a 3 hour drive one way it was so worth it. 🙂 At one of the booths I purchased a decoupage pad from Belle & Boo. I absolutely fell in love with the adorable children images that is in the pad.

The images can be punched out and then put together to create a 3D effect. Since I don’t own pop dots I used the leftovers from rubber stamps that I cut apart instead. It was very easy to put together since everything is numbered. 🙂 I started with a 6″x6″ folded cardstock base and added scraps of patterned and plain cardstock to the surface along with sequins and thread.

The sentiment is from an old Brenda Walton’s Card Quotables Sticker Pad that I had forgotten that I had. I love how quickly the card came together and how cute it looks. 🙂

Also I would like to submit this card from the following challenge:
If you have any questions about this card please let me know.

Friends Forever

Hi everyone! I’m here to share a fun card I created for the Paper Wings Productions July Challenge. The challenge for this month is use either wet or dry embossing in your project. I stumbled upon their blog last week and I had already started working on this card so I thought why not submit my card? 🙂
For my card I cut from a 6″x12″ piece of Light Red Plaid/Stripe cardstock and folded in half to create a 6″x6″ card base. I used a variety of cardstock and sticker from the Lodge Collection along with Moss Green Glitter CardstockIrredescent Classic Glitter Swirl VellumVanilla Fluer Glitter Cardstock and Dew Drops which can all be found over at the Robin’s Nest.

I embossed a piece of  Moss Green Glitter Cardstock with  the Geometric Rings Embossing Folder for a fun background and I lightly inked the edges with some hot pink chalk ink. The friends printable  I fussy cut out and added on top of the embossed cardstock and then I embellished with handmade flowers, sequins, dew drops, lace and twine.

I hope you enjoy my card I’ve created and if you have any questions please let me know.
