Floral Wreath Hello Card

Hi everyone! I am back this month with a quick card I created for Momenta.

I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock to fit inside the Thanks Floral Wreath Cut and Embossing Folder with I ran through a Diecut Machine. I inked an Art Dauber with Mint Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and inked over the embossed wreath.

I cut a mat from the Peony Paper Pad to back the embossed wreath. From the same paper pad I fussy cut a flower and leaves from one of the papers. The Metallic Paper Pad I cut  the hello sentiment using the hello diecut from the Thanks Floral Wreath Cut and Embossing Folder and Diecuts before running through the diecut machine I backed the cardstock with an Adhesive Sheet. I adhered the flower to the corner of the wreath and I peeled the backing off the hello sentiment before adding to the center of the wreath.

I added clear glitter glue to the center of the flower and leaves. I also made several messing bows from thread.

I adhered the messy bows underneath the flower and added sequins to the front of the card.

I cut a piece of cardstock from the Peony Paper Pad  6″x11″ and folded in half. I adhered the ‘hello” wreath to the front of the card base. There you have it a card made in less than an hour. As always if you have questions about this project please let me know and be sure to check out Momenta for more project ideas.

Just Fabulous Notebook

Hi everyone! I’m back with a project using Eileen Hull’s newest Notebook Diecut. This project I created for Creativation this past January. I cut the notebook from Matboard and covered with a Fabulous Paper Collection from Authentique. Next I cut from matboard the frame from the Books and Pages, Trinket Box and Frame Diecut. I embossed it with the Waffle Embossing Folder (retired). I inked the frame with a Tutu Blends Ink and once that was dry I lightly went around the edges with Metallic Blush Pigment Ink. Before adhering to the front cover I glued an image of a woman from the Fabulous Paper Collection to the inside of the frame.

I cut two flowers from the Flowers and Leaves Journaling Cards Diecuts. I shaped and adhered together. I fussy cut flowers and leaves images from scraps of cardstock I had laying around and adhered to the corner of the frame along with the shaped flower. I glued a sequin and glossy dot to the center of the flower.
I covered the inside with patterned cardstock. Next I punched holes in either end of the spine and threaded elastic thread through the holes and tied off.
I threaded through the holes polka dotted ribbon and before tying off I added a mini tassel.
I decorated the front and back of a mini notebook (these can be purchased at the Dollar Tree and Walmart) with the same Fabulous Paper Collection and added three glossy dots to the cover too.
All I had to do was slide the notebook under the elastic. Easy Peasy! If you would like to see more fun projects from the Inspiration Team hop on over to Eileen Hull’s blog which you can find HERE

As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Botanical Wreath Tag

Hi everyone! I am back with another tag I created. I had actually created this tag for ColorBox for use in an advertisement in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine last year. I kinda let this post sit in the draft folder of my blog and never got around to posting the directions on how I made this…so here it is! 😁

I started by applying Dandelion Premium Ink to a glass tray, adding water and placing the tag into the watered down ink and removed. I cleaned off the tray and applied the following inks: Rose, Jade and Spring Premium Dye Inks to the glass tray and added water. I randomly place the Tag in the different colors of ink until desired effect was achieved.

Once the tag dried I embossed with the English Botanical Embossing Folder.
I cut from a brown/wood looking cardstock a Wreath Diecut and inked the leaves with Ice Jade Chalk Ink. The wreath was bigger than the tag so I adhered to the front and wrap and glue the rest to the back of the tag.
Before glueing the rest of the wreath to the backside I measured and cut a piece of Yellow and Ivory Mini Dot Reverse Cardstock the size of tag and adhere to the back of the tag.

I cut from White Cardstock flowers and leaves from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts and from the Flower and Leaf Stitchlits Diecuts (retired). I added Rose Premium Dye Ink to glass tray, water and painted two larger flowers and once dry shaped with a Stylus and add two sequins and a flat back pearl to the center of each flower. I inked leaves completely with Ice Jade Chalk Ink, shaped with a stylus and adhered to the backs of each flower. I shaped with a stylus three of the mini white cardstock flowers and add a gem to each center.

I tied two bows with cording and adhere to the back side of the large flowers before gluing to the tag. I finished off by adding sequins randomly to the front of the tag and cutting 8 inch piece of lace and tie to the top. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Dragonfly Photo Box

Hi everyone! I am back today with a Photo Box I created using Eileen Hull’s Stamp and Photo Storage Diecut and embossing powders by ColorBox. I started by cutting two Stamp and Photo Storage Diecut from Matboard using a Diecut Machine

I cut one of the flaps off of each diecut and placed one of the diecuts in the Floral Frame Embossing Folder and run through the diecut machine. I put the box together according to directions on the Stamp and Photo Storage Diecut packaging.
I used a hot glue gun to adhere the two diecuts together to create a box and I cut to fit three pieces of cardstock and adhere to the sides of the box.

I adhered lace and flat back pearls to the bottom of the box.

Next I cut two flowers from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts and punch leaves from the mini leaf punch and shape and adhere to the bottom of the box and add a flat back pearl to the center of the flower.

I used two dragonfly diecuts from my own personal stash and ink completely with Aquamarine Chalk Ink

After the ink dried I inked both with Top Box Clear Embossing Ink and added Copper Embossing Powder randomly on both dragonfly diecuts.

I set the embossing powder with a Heat Tool and applied more Top Box Clear Embossing Ink and complete the same steps with the Gold Sparkle and Opalescent Clear Embossing Powders until desired effect is achieved.

I added adhesive to the center of one of the dragonfly diecuts and glue on top of the other dragonfly diecut.

I bent the wings up on the dragonfly, adhere to the top of the photo box and add a flatback pearl to finish off the box.

This would be a perfect gift to hold wedding photos, graduate or personal photos in. Also below is links to most of the tools and supplies I used if you want to recreate this project for yourself. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Lucky Shamrock Tag

Hi everyone and Happy March the 1st! I wanted to start off the month by sharing a shamrock tag I created!

I started by cutting Good Luck on Ivory Cardstock 6.25″x3.125″ and punching a hole at the top center of the tag.

I inked a glass tray with ColorBox Blends Leaf Ink, added water to the ink, loaded paint brush and splatter tag with mixture. I repeated Step 2 but with ColorBox Blends: Frog Ink and I let the tag dry.

I inked the Shamrock Rubber Stamp with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of textured green cardstock. I fussy cut the shamrock image out and adhered an acrylic heart gem to the center of the shamrock image.

I inked the “lucky” sentiment from the Dress Up Stamp and Cut Set and stamp onto white cardstock, cut out and ink edges with Ice Jade Chalk Ink and cut a banner from the  piece of green cardstock, emboss with the Waffle Embossing Folder (retired). Next I inked the edges and over the embossed area with Ice Jade Chalk Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the banner and the banner to the tag. I glued the shamrock image underneath the sentiment with a small portion hanging off the tag.

I finished off the tag by cutting three 6″ pieces of lace and threaded through the hole at the top of the tag, tied off with thread and adhere a button to the lace. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Friday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Give Thanks Tag

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a quick tag I created for Thanksgiving. I had a lot of bits and pieces laying around for this project and it only took about an hour for me to create…this generally not the case when I make something. 😁I alway have leftover inks when I am creating other project so I grab a blank tag and lay the tag in the mixture and put it off to the side and let dry. So I now have something for later on to use as my base for a project and it is such a time saver too.

I embossed the tag with the Gridlock Embossing Folder and lightly inked over the embossed area with Nutmeg Blends Ink. I added banners that I had cut from patterned cardstock and a couple of circle punches to the top of the tag. I found this little girl and turkey image on the internet and printed and fussy cut. I added pop dots to the back and placed off to the side of the center of the tag.
I printed the “Give Thanks” sentiment from the computer and “Celebrate” sentiment I cut from a piece of cardstock. I inked the edges of the sentiments before adhering them to the tag. I had a leftover leaf sprig I had stamped from the Thankful Stamp Set. I had inked the sprig with Clear Top Boss Embossing Pad and applied Copper Embossing Powder but for the past project I was working on I didn’t like the way it looked so I didn’t use it. But for the this project I thought it added a nice touch to the cording, flower and buttons that I added to the corner of the tag. I glued another button to the top of the tag and finished by added lace to the top of the tag.

I would like to submit this project for the following challenge:

As always thanks for stopping by and I hope your thanksgiving is wonderful and you get to spend it with people you love! Also enjoy creating!

Thankful Gift Box

Hi everyone! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only a week away?!?! Where has the time went to??? I thought I would share a little gift box I created for ClearSnap.

I carefully took a part and emboss each section of the box with the Wood Grain Embossing Folder. Next, I loaded three Art Daubers with the following inks: Candies Yam, Red Barn and Pumpkin Spice Inks and lightly rub in random spots to give a wood grain texture on the box. Once I got the desired wood grain effect that I wanted I put the box back together.

I inked a glass tray with Flagstone and Coconut Inks and add water to each color. I loaded a paint brush with Flagstone Ink mix and splatter each side of the box. Clean brush and load Coconut Ink mix and splatter each side. I fussy cut a doily from the DIY Shop Paper Collection and adhere to the top of the box.

I cut from the Crinoline fabric flowers using the Journaling Cards, Flowers and Leaves Diecuts and lightly ink the center of each flower with Canary Ink.

I added a drop of adhesive to the center of each flower. Next I laid each flower diecut on top of each other and pinched the center of all the flowers and shape.

I inked the feather stamp from the Thankful Stamp Set with Wicked Back Ink and stamp onto a piece of patterned cardstock. I did this twice and fussy cut each feather.
Next, I inked and stamped in Leather Ink the “Thankful” sentiment and two leaf sprigs. I also inked the edges of the sentiment with Butter Chalk Ink and fussy cut the leaf sprigs out and inked another leaf sprig with Clear Top Boss Embossing Pad. I added Copper Embossing Powder, set with a heat tool and fussy cut image out.

I glued the feathers, leaf sprigs and several loops of cording and thread to the upper corner of the box. I added the “Thankful” sentiment to the lid and finish off with flowers and sequins.

I would like to also submit this project for the following challenge:

ClearSnap: Be Fearless Tag

Hi everyone! I’m back with a very quick inspirational tag I created!
I started by inking a glass tray with Jade Premium Ink, adding water and placing Tag  in ink mixture. Once I had the desired effect I wanted I removed and let dry. I placed the Printer’s Ornament Embossing Folder on both ends of the tag and run through the diecut machine. I inked the Be Fearless Rubber Stamp with Atmosphere Premium Ink and stamped the center of the tag.

I adhered grey lace on either side of the sentiment and add flat back pearls along the top of both pieces of lace. I punched a butterfly from patterned cardstock and adhere to the lace and added one flat back pearl to the center of the butterfly. I cut a 6 inch piece of seaming binding and tie to the top of the tag.
As always you have any questions about this project please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Moments Tag

Hi everyone! It’s been a busy week for me! I meant to post this project a lot sooner but I’ve been working on butcher block counter tops getting them ready to install…I can’t wait to get this kitchen finished!!! Anyway, I really love how this tag came together…the colors, the stamps, diecuts, everything!

I started by inking a glass tray with Petal Point: Enchantment-Heliotrope and Peony Inks and Cat’s Eye Lime Pigment Ink, add water and place tag in watered down ink. Once desired effect is achieved remove and let dry. Next I inked the Ornate Border Molding Mat with Alabaster ink and stamped the tag. I cleaned the molding mat and ink with Guacamole ink and stamp the tag again. I placed the Cameo Frame Embossing Folder midway of the tag and run through diecut machine. I lightly inked over the embossed image lightly with Warm Violet and Wisteria Chalk Ink.

I cut a vellum label from the Label Diecut and adhere in the center of the embossed image on the tag. Next I cut one strip of cardstock and adhere in the center of the vellum and embossed image.

I applied the Adhesive Sheet to the back of a purple and green piece of cardstock. Place the Moments Die with purple cardstock, Floral Arch Die with green cardstock and Flower Die with white cardstock diecuts on the cutting pad and run through the diecutting machine. Peel the backing off of the moments and floral arch and place on the tag.

Before adhering the flower diecut to the tag, shape and add a couple of loops of thread to the back and glue to the floral arch. I finished off by adding a Glossy Dot to the center of the flower and tie lace to the top of the tag. As Always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

ClearSnap: Woodsy Autumn Planner

Hi everyone! I’m back with another project this week that I created using the Wrapped Journal Diecut and an assortment of inks from ClearSnap.

I started by cutting one Wrapped Journal Diecut from Mat Board and emboss both flaps with Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

I inked my glass tray with Nutmeg Blends Ink ,add water and painted the outside of the journal and both inside spines with watered down ink and let dry. Next I loaded several Art Daubers with the following inks: Mercantile: Candied Yam and Red Barn, Cornucopia: Pumpkin Spice Inks and lightly rub over the outside/inside in random spots on the journal to emulate woodgrain texture on the cover. I inked the glass tray with Flagstone and Coconut Blends Inks, added water to each color and loaded a paint brush with watered down Flagstone ink and splatter on the outside cover and inside spine and let dry. I completed the same steps as with the Flagstone ink with the Coconut ink and let dry.

I cut and adhere patterned cardstock to the inside of journal and strung elastic cording to the inside of the spine and tie off.

I cut from watercolor paper a set of leaves from the Journaling Cards, Flowers and Leaves Diecuts and took one small leaf diecut and ink with Coral and Dandelion Premium Dye inks and shape. Once dry I inked with the Clear Embossing Pad and add Copper Embossing Powder to the clear embossing and set with the heat tool. I completed this step again for each of the following embossing powders:  Gold Sparkle and Opalescent

I cut three pieces of cardstock in various sizes to create a flap for the front smaller cover and adhered. I punched a small hole in the center and at the end of the flap and add decorative brad. I cut two more pieces of cardstock to cover the back of the brad on the inside cover.

I cut out one small wreath diecut, one circle punch and one seal circle punch and adhered to the cover. I adhered a doll head to the corner of the wreath, loop hemp cording, embossed leaf and two mini flowers next to the doll head and added mini gems to the flowers.

I cut 28 inches of hemp cording and fold in half and tied securely around brad.

I wrapped cording around journal and tie a knot about an inch under the brad, add three beads and tie off. Cut off excess cording. As always I welcome comments or questions about this project.
