Dress My Crafts HUGS Box

Hi everyone! I want to hop on real quick and share a project that I will be showcasing at Creativation in the Dress my Crafts booth 930. If by chance you are at the show please come by the booth Sunday and say hello and make this Hugs box. 

Also the first 50 people that comes by the booth will receive a bag of goodies.

Sewing Notions Drawers

Hi everyone! I am back for my final project of February! I created this sewing notions drawers from Eileen Hull’s new diecut, Stacking Drawer Diecut that premiered  at Creativation in January.

Instead of stacking the drawers on top of each other I decided to place them side by side.

I cut three sets of drawers diecuts from Matboard and put together according to directions on the packaging. I adhered all three “walls” together and covered with patterned cardstock from Authentique. Actually all cardstock used on this project is from Authentique and if I remember correctly it from the Fabulous Collection.

I put all the drawers together and covered with cardstock outside and on the inside too. Before covering the inside with cardstock I added drawer pulls which I attached with brads.

I cut all the flowers and leaves from the Flowers and Leaves Jouranling Cards Diecuts.

I shaped all the flowers and added cording, lace, pearl top pins and mini spools to the top of the drawers.

I also added sequins and gems to the center of each flower.

Doily Dori

Hi everyone! I am here to share a journal I created for Creativation/CHA for Eileen Hull’s booth this past January. I am really pumped over this Journal Diecut which will be coming to stores sometime in May.  

For this journal I cut the cover from felt and adhered together with Fabri-Tac adhesive. This is a great glue to use since it “grabs” and dries quickly.

On the cover I adhered a doily from my stash and a couple of felt flowers that I cut from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts and added a Dew Drop to the center of the flower.

I strung 3 MM elastic through the holes and tied off.

I cut down a couple of notebooks that I had picked up at the Target Dollar Spot so they would fit in the journal. 

See how easy peasy this was to create! Now I can either use it as a planner or as an art journal. 😀

Eileen Hull: Flower Basket

Hi everyone! I am  so excited to share my first project from CHA/Creativation using Eileen Hull’s newest Heartfelt Collection! This little flower basket is created with the new Basket Diecut, Mat Board and the Basket Weave Embossing Folder.

After all the pieces to the basket was cut out and embossed I spritzed all the pieces (both sides) with Tattered Leather Glimmer Mist and once dry I splattered with Gold Glimmer Mist. I then put it together according to the direction of the packaging.

I used a scrap of white cardstock and I cut out and painted three of the flowers and a leaf from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts. Once dry I shaped, glued together and added a Dew Drop to the center of the flower.  

I adhered the flower between the basket handles with a couple of loops of thread and added lace to the top edges of the basket to finish it off.
