Christmas Trees and Snowmen Decor

Hi everyone! I’m back today with a quick and easy home decor project I created for the Comfort and Joy Event hosted by Eileen Hull!

I used the tree diecuts from the Vintage Truck Box Diecut and the label from the Full Size Journal Diecut to create this project. Lets get started!

The base of this project is an empty can of wax. I did give the inside a good clean before tapping the lid on tightly before decorating.

I dug into my Christmas papers, selected and covered the can sides and the top with a festive patterned cardstock. I also adhered lace around the top and bottom and added a snowflake ornament ( I’ve used these snowflakes in several of my projects) to the top of the can.

I cut several of the large and small tree diecuts from the Vintage Truck Box Diecut.

The large tree I cut the “trunk” off and folded all the trees in half and adhered to a small wooden dowel. The smaller tree I did the same steps except I glued the tree dies back to back.

I adhered the trees along with two snowman stickers from my stash and Baubles to the top of the can. I also applied Stickles onto the trees and baubles and added the label diecut, with Foam Pop Dots to the back, from the Full Size Journal Diecut to the front of the can and a Happy Holidays sticker to finish.

If you haven’t been following Eileen on her Facebook Lives during the Comfort and Joy Event I’ve attached the link from her blog that shares a link to her fan club where you can join and watch her lives. You can find that post HERE.
