Reminisce Tiny Book
Hi everyone! I’m back today with a project I actually started last year. I had received this paper pack, Eclectic Charm Collection, from the Blue Fern Studio booth when I went to Creativation in January 2020.
When I got back home I had decided that 6″x6″ paper pack would be prefect to use with the Tiny Book Diecut.
I wanted to make the spine wider on the Tiny Book. So I applied an Adhesive Sheet on both side of a Chipboard and placed the Picturesque (cover) and Friendship (inside) Cardstocks on top of the adhesive sheet and cut each cover with spine separately.
Then Covid happened and I didn’t pick up this project until March 2021. I worked on it between current design team projects and finally finished it…yay!!! I also realized that I didn’t get a photo of how I put both covers together. So I will do my best to explain…I cut a strip of cardstock the width of both spines and adhered and wrapped the excess around both ends of the spine and glued. I cut a strip of cardstock slightly smaller than the inside spine, punched holes on each end. I cut the cardstock from the pack slightly smaller than the cover, folded in half, punched holes in each and sewed to the strip of cardstock for the inside spine. Then I glued the strip to the inside spine and placed binder clips on each end of the spine until everything was completely dried.
There are so many flowers and images from this pack that I fussy cut everything a part. The cover I added Foam Pop Dots to the floral image before placing onto the cover.I cut a couple of the tiny flowers and the leaf sprig from the Folio Page, Pocket and Flowers Thinlits, shaped and added a gem to the center of each flower along with a tiny piece of lace. I cut cording and run under the raised floral image on the cover and glued a piece of patterned cardstock to the back cover to keep the cording in place so I wouldn’t loose it.
The inside pages I added the fussy cut images and some of the pages I created pockets to hold mini tags.

It took me a year but there you have! Be sure to stop by Eileen Hull’s blog and see what the Inspiration and Educator Teams have been up to! You can find the latest blog posts HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. Also if you have questions about this project please let me know.
