Vintage Lady and a Rose

Hi everyone! I am here to share a project I created using Eileen Hull’s Box Diecut and her new flower and leaf diecuts which I don’t have a link to those yet since they haven’t came out  but I will try and come back and add the links when they are released. 🙂
I had actually decorated this box several months ago and the idea I had for it wasn’t going to work out so I put it aside and “sat” on it.

The vintage woman printable I purchased from Eclectic Anthology’s Massive Vintage Victorian Graphics and Clip Art Bundle. I sized the image down, printed off and then fussy cut out…also the butterfly printable is from The Graphic Fairy.

I filled the inside of the box with tissue and then adhering the woman, tulle and moss in the box. The rose I spritzed with Wedding Pink Glimmer Mist, let dry, shaped and glued together before adhering to the moss and tulle in the box. Also I added a little bit of Stickles to the edges of the flower.

The leaves I used a variety of chalk inks to both sides of the diecut and then I shaped with a stylus and added to the top of the box and to the rose. I adhered flat back pearls and lace to the box to finish it off. If you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is awesome and enjoy creating!

"Tweet"-ness

Hi everyone! I’m here to share a project I created for Eileen Hull’s Art with Heart Project of Love Challenge. I used the Sizzix Scoreboards XL Die Box Square which I cut from the Sizzix Mat Board Pack 6 Cream Sheets.  One of the box sides I cut  off the lid so it could be open. I then cover with Express Yourself Gypsy Moments Cardstock on the outside and on the inside I covered with Express Yourself Gypsy Moments Cardstock. I decorated the front with hearts that was diecut and punched along with a little bird that I fussy cut from the Conservatory Paper Pack. I finished off the front with some cute embellishments, adhered trim around the top of the box and the screw fasteners I added to the bottom of the box.

The files I cut from the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 4pk with Stamps Gypsy Files but I wanted the files longer so I folder the cardstock in half and cut and I then cut papers from both the Conservatory and the Morceaux paper pads and adhered to both sides. I created pockets from the Poses and Reflections Gypsy Moments Cardstock and added embellishments along with Conservatory tags.

Backside of the file tags.

These tags are actually packaging from some 7 Gypsy product.

The backside of the tags I didn’t have to add much just a little bit of paper, Postale Paper Tape and twine.

I wasn’t sure how everything was going to turn out when I started but I can honestly say I love the “tweet” little bird and hearts on the front of the box along with all the tags inside the box. 🙂 If you have any questions about this project or any of the products I used please let me know.

You Will Forever be My Always ATB

Hi everyone! Can you believe this month is almost over and July is just around the corner??? I keep asking myself where did June go??? I have had a crazy June to say the least, emergency room, a hospital stay and now a rash that my husband says is shingles…I say no way cause I don’t hurt just itch. I have felt like I just don’t have enough hours in the day to get everything accomplished that is on my to do list. Maybe July will be good to me…fingers crossed. 🙂
I’m here to share a ATB I created using Eileen Hull’s Scoreboards XL Die Box Square. I used from the Robin’s Nest Wedding {in love} CollectionLight Ale Dew DropsPearl Dew Drops and Peach Glitter Cardstock to make an adorable block that could be used as a table decoration at a wedding.

I love the cut a parts that the Robin’s Nest now has in the Wedding {in love} Collection. All I had to do was cut out one of the sayings and add leaves, flowers, that I shaped and dew drops.

I used a Copper Shimmer Mist to add color to both bird cages that are on the ATB.

This sentiment I especially love! I can honestly say this is truly how I feel about my husband.

The top view I decorated with diecuts, buttons, dew drops, pearl spray and flower.

In all this was a quick ATB to put together other than shaping flowers and leaves. 🙂

Also I’m playing along with Eileen Hull’s The Art with Heart June Challenge that is still going on for only two more days. So please be sure to stop by and check out what everyone else has created.
