Making Plans Release Party with Eileen Hull

Hi everyone! I’m back with a project I created using Eileen Hull’s newest stamp set called Making Plans with Maker Forte! This set of stamps has so many possibilities! From cards, tags, journals and so much more! I used these stamps on the cover of an unfinished album from a tutorial that Eileen shared on one of her Facebook Lives. Anyways, let’s get started!

I placed an assortment of the label stamps onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked and stamped onto Cream Cardstock and various patterned scraps of cardstock. I also inked up the “dream a little” sentiment stamp and stamped onto one of the labels I had already stamped. I fussy cut all of the labels out and what I don’t use now will be used in finishing the inside…the plan is to do a part two blog post later…so stay tuned!

I also used an assortment of diecuts/thinlits to decorate the cover: Shadow Box Frames Set 02 Thinlits, Shadow Box Frames Set 01 Thinlits, Shadow Box Elements Thinlits, Mandala Thinlit, Folio Page Pocket and Flowers Thinlits and Full Size Journal Diecut. Can you spot the diecuts I used?

The label stamps are so fun to layer! I had a “partial” label diecut from the Extra Large Journal Diecut that I layered with a bookplate and the “dream a little” sentiment, used water splatter rub ons (49 and Market) and more label stamps along with several flowers, leaves gems and thread loops to finish the cover.

Unbutton Your Mind Art Journal Page

Hi everyone! I’m back this week with a art journal page I create using Eileen Hull’s Vintage Damask Stamp Set and Button’s Cards and More Stamp Set. I also used one of the bodies from the Paper Dolls Manly Printables and the butterfly wings from the Extravagant Paper Dolls Printables. Let’s get started!

I placed the button card stamp onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with a Brown Ink and stamped onto a piece of Cream Cardstock. The Damask Stamp I completed the same steps as with the button card stamp but stamped onto a piece of Navy Cardstock.

Next I used an assortment of embossing powders to “grudge up” the damask image.

I cut a piece of patterned cardstock slightly larger than the stamped images. I adhered the damask and button card images onto the patterned cardstock.

I fussy cut out a body, crown and butterfly wings and before placing onto the page I adhered buttons with cording to the button card. I glued the butterfly wings to the body and added Foam Pop Dots and placed onto the page. Next two buttons together and adhered where the head should be on the body. I finished by gluing the crown to the head, printing and cutting out the “Unbutton Your Mind” sentiment to the page.

Her Heart was a Secret Garden Journal Page

Hi everyone! I’m back with a semi quick (lots of fussy cutting) journal page I created using Eileen Hull’s Snail Mail Everyday Sentiments Stamps by Maker Forte.

I placed the grid stamp onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with a Dark Brown Chocolate Ink and stamped a piece of Cream Cardstock. Once dry I cut off the off the cream colored edges. As you can see I accidentally got ink in one of the boxes when I stamped the image but no worries it will be covered.

I gathered up scraps of patterned cardstock, a flatback pearl, resin flower, thread and I fussy cut images I had printed from itKuPiLLiimaginarium on Etsy.

I also used a small heart die from the Mitten Box Diecut and the leaf sprig die from the Folio Page Pocket and Flowers Thinlits to decorate page.

Now all I have to do is add it to my art journal that I’ve been slowly filling. If you would more inspiration stop by Eileen Hull’s blog to see what her team has been up to. You can find her blog HERE.

And I Think to Myself Card

Hi everyone! Did you know that Eileen Hull now has a line of rubber stamps? Well, she does! You can find her stamps at Maker Forte which can be found HERE.

But I’m back this week with a card I created using Eileen Hull’s newest Wonderful World of Flowers Stamp Set.

I had this 5″x6″ card base I had started but never finished (story of my life tons of unfinished projects 😉 ). So I thought this base would show case this set of stamps really well.

First I placed the flowers and sentiment onto the MISTI Stamp Tool, inked with Waterproof Black Ink onto a Heavy Weight Cardstock. Next I used a combo of Watercolors and Colored Pencils to fill in the flowers and once dry I fussy cut a part.

Before adhering the sentiment to the card base I framed the sentiment with a piece of patterned cardstock.

I cut the leaves off of the flowers before shaping all with a Stylus. I added the flowers and leaves to the sentiment along with a button and Dew Drop to the center of each flower and thread bows to finish off the card.

Be sure to stop by Eileen’s blog to see what her Inspiration and Educator Teams have been up to. You can find past posts HERE, HERE and HERE.
